If you could select 0 stars, that would be my option. This is the worst company for propane. They take your money before you can request a tank fill, their online application does not take into account that you may have a credit to apply to the balance, uses a non-US call center to take your call and they cannot resolve your issue, or have the ability to transfer you to a supervisor. Then when promised to deliver as urgent or emergency, that is not honored. So I am now down to >10% propane, they took my $500 two weeks ago, the driver still hasn’t scheduled to deliver and I am unable to get a call back from a supervisor or above. Not the way to run a company. Looking for a new propane provider !!!!

Where do I start! After several attempts calling to get my tank refilled with no success I finally had to go elsewhere I called emailed and left messages for them to come and get their tank which has been sitting in my yard for 5 months and it’s in my way! I also know of several others who never got their deliveries and ran out of propane in the freezing temperatures that’s how much they care about their customers!! Highest prices around they give you good deals for being a new customer then after that the rates are ridiculously high!!Never again will I do buisiness with Amerigas!!

Amerigas should be investigated for misleading customers on several levels and endangering the lives of it's customers. The company purchased small, local propane suppliers across the US and consolidated their services to district offices. They also consolidated the customer communication to large centralized call centers. These call centers have no direct communication with the local district offices so a customer that needs any service at all has no way of knowing what, who or when they will be delivering their propane. We were scheduled to get propane Feb. 5th. While waiting on this delivery we ran out of propane - and, of course, it was when the temperatures dropped to below zero the week of February 14th. We immediately began calling to get an emergency delivery. Every phone call we were told "your order is on emergency status, you should have a delivery in the next 24 hours". Then we were "moved up the line" to "Urgent" and on my 4th call to them we were moved up to "Real Time" delivery which is guaranteed delivery within 24 hours - or so I was told. It is now Feb. 28 and we still do not have propane. We have been without full heat for 11 days in the middle of winter. Fortunately we do own our tank so 2 days ago we contacted another propane dealer. Had we been honestly informed by Amerigas how long it would take to get propane we would have used another company for the emergency situation and returned to Amerigas as our regular dealer. As is, we were waiting in the freezing cold and warming up in our car thinking we were getting a delivery in "24 hours". I can't imagine being someone that is homebound or an invalid that can not physically face a heating challenge having to depend on these crooks and the lies they tell you to keep you from going to another company. Do not use this company - if you are leasing a tank from them save every penny you have and have one installed of your own so you are never caught depending on them. All I can say is thank goodness we own our own tank and can walk away.

My rating is zero. We are out of propane2/22/2021 paid for a fill, on 2/26/2021 we were to it would be delivered that day but nothing, on 2/27/2021 we were told delivery was today still nothing. Based on the reviews I’ve read I don’t think we will get propane.

Amerigas doesn't even deserve one star! They are the worst company ever! They never show when they say they will. I ordered propane on January 20, 2021 and to this day February 27, I have not gotten a delivery. I have called so many times and they give me promises of delivery and never show up. This happens every time I order propane. I blame myself for doing business with them as long as I did. Never, Never rely on this company!!

They have been horrible since I signed up with them in 2017. February 5th 2021 I ordered a refill online and prepaid. They estimated I would be filled Feb 5 through February 19th. As of February 25th no gas and no reply to my message to customer service. This is my last winter with Amerigas. I'm tired of giving this sorry company any more chances. If I don't have gas by tomorrow I'll file a dispute with my credit card company.

I am on automatic delivery with Amerigas. My last tank fill up was January 4th, 2021. Tomorrow Friday the 26th makes 1 week I have been out of propane. I have called everyday 2 to 3 times a day and only get promises of a delivery. I received an automated call on Tuesday evening the 23rd stating my delivery would come next day on Wednesday and because I had no propane someone needed to be home for a pressure test. I had to take a day off work to be home and they did not show up. At 4 pm on Wednesday the 24th I called customer service and was told the truck was en route. It’s Thursday night at 8:14 and still no propane. I emailed the region manager, the company CEO and not one response! I will be switching companies and will make sure I tell everyone how horrible this company is!

I’ve been trying to get Propain for the last 3 days. Every time I’ve talk to someone they are telling me it will be delivered by 5pm but no one ever shows up. If you’re reading DO NOT use this company for your Propain. They do not care about there customers at all! I had my account on automatic delivery they assured me I would never run out. Guess what I’m out and no one at America’s cares! If there was a lower then 1 star rating I would give it! Don’t use this company...
