DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Worst customer service I’ve ever received. We set up with them in June of 2021 when we bought our house. We set up automatic deliveries and no one has come out to check our tank in the past year! It is now June of 2022 and we ran out of gas. I called customer service and they said it was there mistake but couldn’t guarantee when they would be able to get someone out to our house to fill up the tank! This is unacceptable. We have a baby at home and no hot water for baths or bottles. If I could leave a zero star review I would!

Horrible customer service. My family had been a customer for more than 20 years and when we bought the property from the family we stayed with Amerigas, close to 20 years ago. I am so disgusted and disappointed with the service we received when we had a recent emergency need. We ran out of gas and called for an emergency delivery. We agreed to pay an extra $200 for delivery within 24 hours. We called back 24 hrs later asking where they were and were told we did not get delivery due to not paying the $200 up front (which they did not ask for). We were then told it was really $300 for a 24 hr delivery and $200 for 24-48 hrs. On hold multiple times for almost an hour. End result we cancelled our account and told them to take their tank. So clueless about customer service that they asked why we were cancelling. Not the way yo treat a long time customer when there have an emergency need. They also had the nerve to say we wouldn't be having this issue if we ordered when the tank was at 25%! No kidding, we obviously realize that and based on that were willing to pay the emergency delivery fee. Must be nice for that customer service associate to be perfect and never make a mistake. Don't buy from Amerigas! Go with a company with real CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Scam Company, Go with someone local. They use offshore account reps that know nothing, they overcharge and are a shady scam company.

This is the WORST COMPANY!!!!! DO NOT use Amerigas! I discontinued service with them on Memorial Day weekend and told them to take their tank away. Not only did the tank sit there for three weeks, they came and FILLED THE TANK!!!!! A tank that’s not connected to anything!!!! Who does that?!?! So now I have a disconnected full tank of propane on my property that I can’t get them to take away! Ughhhh! I also have a call in to the Maine Fuel Board to see if they can help resolve this. AMERIGAS IS AWFUL!!!!!

Amerigas is holding us hostage at $4.93/gallon for propane that we must have to live. They are the worst. Get a different service up front! They are literally killing us (my husband needs oxygen) and we can’t even call them anymore. There are no phone numbers or email. Order and pay online only. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Twice now this has happened. I asked amerigas how much their propane was. They quoted me a price and I accepted. Amerigas gave me a conf.# Then they changed the per gallon of price from $2.17 to 3.19. I said no and then called them again two days late. They quoted me then $2.50 per gallon and the same thing happen. They jacked the price up again. BAIT AND SWITCH COMPAPNY. Will never call them again.

The regional office (who now schedule s the appointments) scheduled the appointment and told me I was the first appointment of the morning, between 8:30 and 9:00. At 9:30 I called the local office and was told they only go by an am or a pm appointment and do not give out specific times and the tech was out on a call already. I asked why he would not have come to my appointment first and she said if they get a public service request they service those ahead of any appointments. This is a service request for a first responders site so I’m not sure what request is considered a public service request if not a first responder. So I got up at 5am so I could drive a 110 miles and be onsite by 8am in case the tech was early and boy was that a joke. I would give no stars if possible

0000 STARS IS WHAT THEY DESERVE THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY EVER TO DEAL WITH. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER THEY TREAT YOU LIKE A PIECE OF DIRT. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 4 MONTHS TO HAVE A TANK REMOVED FROM A HOUSE WE NO LONGER OWN AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT.... AFTER READING THE REVIEWS IM SURPRISED THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS AT ALL
