I hate reviews where you can't give 0 stars. I was with Amerigas for over 20 years. They change their customer service to where you cannot contact their local office. This turned into a giant mess. So I cancelled my service and it took them over a month to get their tank. They owned me over $300 and it took 6 phone calls and almost 3 months to get the check. Finally got it after I threatened to takebthem to small claims count. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH AMERIGAS.

Been with Amerigas for 11yrs. Had a locked rate per their District Mgr. Without notice, my rate lock was gone. Promised resolution since March 2022. No resolution at all. Promised callbacks from "concerned" corporate team members but have received none-not one! Terrible way to do business. UPDATE: Have finally received a credit for the amount charged above my old rate for my last fill. FINALLY! Now trying to secure reasonable pricing...no progress as of yet. STILL

The worst company stay away I’m on auto refill on Wednesday I call everyday 4 times a day they promise me the same day and it’s now Tuesday still no gas every week I have to call n call if I was you find another company because how they run their business is awful and very unprofessional

Customer service is horrible!! Called 3 times and 2 out of 4 the representative hung up on me! James (supervisor) and Chris. Looking for a new gas computer! Can’t wait to get rid of this disgusting company!! They always let my tank run dry and then want to wait 24 to 48 hours to refill it!! Even though I am on auto refill!! DONT NOT use the horrible company!!

This company is the worst. Their customer Service is nonexistent. While we were customers of theirs, I had to call many times for being overcharged or billed for services that we didn't approve. Our company cancelled our service with them in August of 2021 and I am still dealing with them sending me bills for propane even though the account was supposed to be cancelled. Today I received a new bill and when I called to try to resolve they told me that they were doing a routine update and could I call back in a hour. What company does routine updates during regular business hours? Only a shady one that doesnt care about customer service. So glad we have a great propane company now with great customer service.

I just received a bill for a tank rent, First i have ever had in 30 years it was 199 dollars, I called and was advise the new policy was you mut use twice the water volume of the tank (500) gal.=1000 gallons to avoid rent. I have Two tanks both 500gal.I used 1243 gallons this last year. They advise it must be 1000 gal per tank or rent is 199 each.That is 400 dollars with tax and 11.99 fee for a papep bill. Called for 2 days never got ahold of anyone first day. They did say they would knock 50 dollars off. We will wait and see . Customer service reps can't can hardly speak any english. I will never use enough gas to fill out the min gas use so basicly it will cost me 400 every year plus the cost of propane. As soon as I can run out these tanks I am changing co. They don't even come on the same day to fill both tanks , they make two seperate trips and charge me for it. Useless ever since they bought out all the small co in area. STAY away these people are shysters.

Sadly, they USED to be a company I was happy dealing with, but the honeymoon has long been over. I used their online service option multiple times for a delivery request to no avail, so then battled through their phone obstacle course to get deliveries. Finally had enough when their updated and forced, one-sided terms of service were published AND I then received a tank rental fee bill. ENOUGH. Called to terminate service on June 6th, and hired a different company. But it doesn't end there. It has now been 36 days and an additional 2 phone calls where I begged them to come pick up the 500 gallon tank. I would actively advise ANYBODY to NOT use Amerigas.

This company does not care or understand loyalty. All I needed was a tech to come out and install a valve for my new range. No return call from office or service mgr. about the issue. I was told the techs don't have fittings on their truck. No knowledge,lack of care and sympathy . I was a customer for years but that didn't matter. Very happy with my new service. New customers be aware and do your research. Don't make the same mistake I did.
