This is the worse company I have ever dealt with. First, Amerigas is the name, but when you call for help you get a foreigner (Bullcrap). My propane tank ran out today at my restaurant, I ordered my delivery Aug 12th, one month earlier. I was then at 15%. Today I called M & G Propane out of Ashland, Ky, same day came and removed Amerigas tank and installed theirs and filled it. Same day service!!!! Highly recommend that company. I wouldn't pee on Amerigas if it was on fire. THEY SUCK!!!!!!

This company is a rip off for fuel pricing and poor customer satisfaction. They never delivery from on line request, I have to follow up with a phone call every time I place an order. Shop elsewhere!!!!

BE CAUTIOUS!!! they will nickel and dime you to death for services while they provide more frequent services than necessary in order to maximize their fees. If you cancel earlier than THREE years, there is another $160 fee! Customer service people are arrogant and seriously lacking in understanding of how to find information.

We have never written a bad review on any company until now so it must be bad. We cannot come up with one positive attribute about this company that we have had to endure service (or total lack of) through for the last few years after purchasing our local gas company. We have been disputing an Amerigas bill for months based on a propane delivery that service was cancelled on January 10, 2022, days before the surprise delivery. The cancellation was acknowledged by Amerigas. We had already contracted another vendor to replace Amerigas, because of their dismal service, but when the tank was filled the new vendor could not place their tank due to the proximity of the tank location and the weight when filled. It was the middle of winter and a primary heat source. We had no choice but to use the gas. We were told we would not be billed for it. Yet Amerigas has billed us for their error. We have tried in vain, for months, to reach our District Manager, Gerald Williams, or anyone with authority, to resolve this issue. We paid the bill today to avoid any further late fees that are assessed and the damage to our credit rating. We would be more than happy to participate in a class action lawsuit against this atrocious "company".

Please stay away from Amerigas they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. It’s been 10 months since they came out and did a site check to supply propane tanks for my new home generator. Did not show on the day they said they would waited all day no show no call. They came Unannounced couple of days later and install them which they put to close to the generator which is illegal and two days after that they filled them which they weren’t supposed and didn’t tell me because everything has to be checked and inspected by the town . They promptly sent a bill which I paid which had a lot of extras on it including permits that they were going to pull which they never did but charged me for it , now over 8 months waiting for them to run gas lines from the tank to the generator which I’ve had seven appointments for and seven times I’ve waited around for them , no call no show- horrible company - Now after about 20 calls to them I told them to get the tanks off my land and to reimburse me for everything that they charged me for and didn’t supply or produce they have given me dates and again no-show no call to remove the tanks . I am seeking legal advice now and going through the state Attorney General’s office , hopefully this will save somebody else from making the same mistake I did !

I had service for over 25 years from a small local company that had excellent service, that is, until it was taken over by Amerigas. It went downhill from there, except for prices, which quadrupled in 5 years. I had ALWAYS been on automatic delivery once a year (Only have a gas stove), but then THEY switched me over to delivery on demand only, without my knowledge, which I discovered when my stove stopped functioning in the middle of cooking up 100 lbs of pears I had just picked in early August of 2021. When I figured out it was because the tank had run out and called, they told me it would be a couple weeks before they could deliver anything, unless I wanted to pay a $250.00 extra charge for emergency delivery. I told them to come get their tank and get it off my property. It was picked up 8/17/2021, and I took a pictures of them getting it. Good thing, too. They just sent me an annual bill, now up to $158.00 (not including any gas deliveries) for a tank I haven't had in over a year. Horrible, horrible company. Stay away. Stay FAR away. On the flip side, at least I am now with a different company that actually cares about their customers and provides good service to prove it. A local company delivered and filled a new tank within 48 hours of me calling them as a new customer and I don't have to pay a ridiculous exorbitant annual fee for the "privilege" of having their tank sitting behind my house, either. So I should actually thank Amerigas for pushing me away!

14 days and still waiting for delivery. I've called and talked to 4 different people and the last person assured me my delivery would be here between 8am - 12pm on the 8th of Sept. Since I placed my order Aug.27th, and yet no delivery. This place is a joke!!! I will be reporting this type of activity to the BBB. Since this company switched, they are unreliable, unprofessional, and unreasonable.No one knows what is what, hell of a way to ruin a company in less than 3yrs. They are basically refusing to deliver our fuel order. Pay the bill everytime they've delivered, and yet now no delivery, been told I am not on a schedule to recieve a delivery. As my grandmother used to say "TOO MANY CHIEFS AND NOT ENOUGH INDIANS" We are deciding on using what's in the tank and start up with a new company. As far as the fee's they want to put on us for closing the acct. and having the tank picked up.. I'LL FIGHT THEM IN COURT OVER IT. From what I've read on the BBB website over this "Non accredited Company" with a score of "F" I'll take my chances fighting their fee's they'll be charging me through a complaint with the BBB.

I have been a customer for many years without issues but, recently tried to get in touch with them and cannot speak to a local office at all. All of the phone numbers go to a call center in a foreign country. Terrible customer service! First 2 calls I made, I actually hung up because they could not understand what I was calling for. If I could give a zero rating I would. Used to be a local business. Very sad
