I order propane on September 24th just received my delivery on the 5th of October at the time of ordering propane I explained to them I completely out and they would have to come in and light my furnace and gas stove not one time did they tell me that AmeriGas did not provide this service any longer I was supposed to have got my gas on October 3rd I called several times finally got it on the 5th if AmeriGas gas provided auto delivery I would not be out also I am happy with not being told at the first time of requesting a delivery that they no longer light furnace are stoves!!Very poor Customer service I am sitting with no gas lit

Ordered an LP gas delivery for in-ground tank after hurricane. Although Amerigas promised 24 hr response when we installed tank, they said soonest we could get delivery was 5 days. Delivery was supposed to be 2 days ago, but no delivery, no phone call, no email, etc. They just haven't shown up. Check account on line and call customer support, and we are informed delivery will occur 2 days ago. EDIT: Truck showed up on 3rd day after scheduled delivery, a week after order. I questioned this and Amerigas CS told me the since I didn't buy cell-phone based tank device which allows auto deliveries when tank reaches predetermined level, a normal delivery would be 7 to 10 days, and more in the aftermath of a storm...which was kinda the entire point of an emergency generator and underground tank.

I would give 5 stars if I could rate just the delivery person. He was so nice. Chatting with their online customer service is a total joke. Good thing they aren’t delivery drivers. They wouldn’t know how to operate a truck or pump propane. Their knowledge o customer service skills is the equivalent. Whoever manages this company should be fired or retire. Just my humble opinion. Maybe they appreciate horrible customer service!! Who knows.

I’ve been with Amerigas propane for over a decade. Every time I’ve called to order propane even when tank is at 2% they assure someone will be out soon 3 weeks later I have to call them and ask where anyone is to fill my tank! They lost the ticket for my delivery multiple times. Obviously, have been with this company way too long & totally my fault for my own misery with this company. I am searching for another propane provider. But, I absolutely under no circumstances recommend this company! Not at all! Never again! All my neighbors have either switched to natural gas or a different carrier.

I had to make multiple calls to get service, get the "agreement" corrected, get the delivery, and get the system checked and turned on. Each person I spoke with gave me wrong information in one form or another. The delivery person showed up without notifying me which day they would be coming and locked out my tank because I was not at home. They couldn't perform a leak check without my presence. I called to arrange an appointment to have the tank reconnected, and was given a time between 12:15 and 1:15 on Monday. I then received an email saying it would be between 12 and 5 pm. I took the day off work on Monday, and it's a good thing I did. The technician came at 11:15 am. Also, my account was put on autopay and automatic delivery. I was required to set up an online account and told I could change those options. I couldn't make changes until I signed their "agreement" which I was very forcefully told over the phone was NOT a "contract". Then why did I have to initial and esign it if it wasn't a contract??? I was then told by phone that they would mail me a corrected copy to sign. Then I was told by another agent that they NEVER mail out contracts to sign. A week later I went into the account, and the online "agreement" had been modified, so I signed it. But I cannot change from Autopay to paper billing without calling again. Do I really want to call these people again when they regularly give me wrong answers?

I wish I could give zero stars. WORST COMPANY EVER! They removed my previous rate and charged me DOUBLE, then when I asked for a payment plan to pay they told me to call back to check on the status which I did TWICE and while still waiting to find out about the payment plan (they told me to keep checking back) they sent me to collections, even though I am actually paid up on my original monthly payment plan and even though I was talking to them about this with multiple documented phone calls. Plus the amount in collections, the amount of the bill they sent the SAME DAY I got the collections notice and the amount I owe online are all 3 different amounts. AND This is for gas they delivered that I did not ask for. They are terrible. I now have to wait to switch companies until I use all the overpriced propane in the tank. So frustrating. I signed up with a local company originally who sold it to Amerigas and it has been terrible I can't wait to use a different company. UGH!!!!!

After 11 years with this company they have failed miserably this year. I ordered our propane delivery online in JULY. I was given a delivery window of 7/24-8/1. It is now September 26 and still no delivery. Customer service has assured me 5 different times that my propane would be delivered within 24 hrs, and still i have no propane. Customer service is a JOKE! AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I have been a customer of Amerigas for 22 years. I was quoted a propane gas price of $3.18/gal for a prepaid option. The representative had to cancel a contract I was previously enrolled in, told me to call back the next week to enter the prepaid contract and I was locked into that price. She also old me she would make a note for this prepaid price. I called back as instructed, but was told gas prices had risen, and I now had to pay $4.48gal for a prepaid option. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She informed me that the only option I had was to pay the $4.48/gal. She was rude and very unconcerned when I told her I had been a loyal customer for 22 years and did not think this was right. She offered to cancel my service and have the tank removed from my property . The customer service at Amerigas is horrible. I called another company ordered a tank and gas. The price was $2.75/gal. , and their customer service was excellent!!
