Horrible customer service. No one can explain anything. We switched companies after a year of putting up with Amerigas. They are still charging us and very rude when we try to speak to anyone. No one hardly speaks English and you never get a customer service representative from your local propane company. Ridiculous people. There are so many options and we will never use them again. I'd rather burn wood in my home. Please choose a different company, so many issues with this one

We have a seasonal cabin in Mt. Pleasant, UT and have used Amerigas for the past 15 years without incident. And then the incident happened. We received a bill that wasn't ours. It was for 3 times more propane than our tank can hold and our tank was never even filled. All of our attempts to resolve the issue has fallen on deaf ears. We cannot speak directly to Amerigas since the only phone number goes to a call center. We are told the matter will be resolved in 5 to 7 days, then nothing happens. We used the website to log our issue, we have sent a letter to the correspondence address, all without getting any response. We have now been turned over to a collection agency; we promptly filed a disput with all of our evidence that this is not our bill, and got no response, just a second demand. It's all good until that something happens and there is no communication from the actual company and they start damaging your good credit but refuse to provide a method of actually communicating with the company instead of a call center that works off a script and doesn't have the authority to solve an actual problem. If you have another option for a propane company I suggest you go with someone else.

Decided to change propane company after they showed up then left, with out filling tank. Excuse was "gates were closed" I DO NOT HAVE ANY GATES!!!! Canceled !New company move old tank ( no charge ), so it could be picked up from access road. That was end of Oct 2022. Have called bimonthly to get old tank out of here,still has propane in it, which I was promised to get a refund for. Amerigas still billing me!

Quick history is I fired Amerigas on Oct 25th and they committed to picking up the tank in 30 days as it's sitting on my lawn with 150 gallons still in the tank. I called them at day 30 and they had no record of it needing to be picked up, I escalated it and was told it would be done within 24-48 hours. This has happened now every week or so since late November. Three weeks ago I escalated again and was told they went through some special process which takes 15 business days to pick up.. again no pickup. Just called them today and they said there's no schedule for the pickup and normally they don't do tank pickups in the winter months. Never have I seen such incompetence across the board.

Read the consumer affairs reviews, and better business bureau reviews regarding Amerigas. Amerigas is the absolute worst company!!! They speak of advancing their technology, what they really mean is they contracted out their customer service to foreigners that dont care if you have propane to heat your home, dry your clothes, or cook your food with. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. This company will lie about delivery dates, and charge you for services that will never be rendered. We were even assured by their customer service representative that our payment wouldn't be processed as we never received any gas that we could use. Guess what? They processed our payment anyway, which was UNAUTHORIZED, and we received nothing for the payment. We told them to come pick up their tank and refund us our money, they said they would only offer us a refund AFTER they pick up their tank that is locked and we cannot use!! Good luck getting them to pick up their tank, do you know how many times they didnt honor their own schedule to fill it and then lock it in the first place? My wife and I took several days off of work to wait on technicians that never came... This company should be shut down, BUYERS BEWARE!!! Use any other company, but Amerigas!!!

Was disappointed to see that AMERIgas was anything but. My first call was to someone in the US and our local delivery men were great. The first bill came with the wrong price (not what we were promised) contract they wanted us to sign was wrong too. Calling customer service is a mistake. It is all overseas and trying to find someone that understands and can comprehend a conversation was difficult. They promise a call back, which never happens. If you have hours to spend talking in circles to people that are reading from a script and not capable of answering your questions, then this company is for you! Only after several calls over several months did I get transferred back to the US to a resolution team that fixed the issues. I suggest finding a true local company.

$735 dollar instal fee. When originally ordering I asked for an itemized list of everything I'd be charged. The instal fee was never mentioned. Customer service rep said I should of assumed there'd be a fee.... still waiting for resolution to get back to me. The worst company ever never again. Been trying to get someone one the phone for over a month and no one seems to be able to do anything about it. Which is odd seeing as it such a big company.

FRAUD BE AWARE!!!!!! I own my tank they illegally stickered my tank and they are claiming they own my tank. I have been fighting for days and nobody can produce any paperwork saying I signed any lease agreements and they can't prove its their tank. I have the paperwork showing its my tank.
