I recently stopped by America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses in Hinesville, Georgia, for a routine eye exam, and it was hands down the best experience I've had at any optical store—quick, friendly, and top-tier service all around! Right from the start, Collette, the classy and professional receptionist, made me feel welcome with her warm greeting and efficient check-in. The whole staff stays on task and is always eager to help, creating a seamless visit. Manager Jennifer is fantastic—she's out on the floor working alongside everyone, and it's clear she has a strong, positive rapport with her team, which keeps the vibe upbeat. Dr. Akbar is brilliant and thorough; he patiently answered all my questions about my changing vision and even followed up with a call when I had a follow-up concern. Totally trustworthy! And tech Raina? She's spot on—got me in to see the doctor without any delay, but still took time to chat and remember details from my previous visit, treating me like family. During my appointment, she even helped adjust my frames on the spot when they felt off. If you're in Hinesville, this is the spot for eye care. Five stars, no doubt!

The America’s Best store in Hialeah always surpasses my expectations. Everyone from the front desk, the doctor to the salesperson are excellent. I have been coming here for 3 years and will continue to come back. This is truly customer service at it’s finest.

Stay away their product is horrible. The advertisement is a bait and switch. Sure you get the exam. Sure you get the select few frames discounted. But then they hit you with the lens cost. $300-$400 and after a few months they were all scratched up….with their so called coating protection.

Ordered on 2/3, expected by 2/16. Date is currently 2/26; nothing. Got updated, have to wait 4 more days just to ship. Garbage service.

From the front desk staff to the lady, Shirley, who helped me pick out and order new glasses, everything went great. Shirley enjoys her job and I had a great time! I was a first time customer at America's Best. I was greeted by the receptionist and directed to the waiting area for my exam. The exam was prompt, the doctor was very personable and did a thorough exam. I then proceeded to the retail area to pick out my frames. I got 3 pairs, 2 regular and one pair of sunglasses. I didn't do the 2 pair for $95.00 because I use progressive lenses and also wanted the transition lenses, but I was given all my options by Ashley and ordered my glasses. I picked them up today and they are very nice for the price. I would have paid a lot more for them anywhere else. So I am a satisfied customer.

The first impression was horrible. The lady that did my exam had some type of illness that caused her to cough profusely. She excused herself over 4 times to calm herself down etc. I requested a mask as we had to be in the small closed off quarters was unsanitary. I was concerned for my safety. The representative who did the frame/glasses part of my visit charged me for the wrong frames initially and of course I had to go back to confirm my choice. Then when it was time to pick up my glasses, they were too strong and I had to reschedule another time to be re-checked and pick up. The whole process was horrible. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. I HATED EVERY BIT OF THIS PROCESS. I am glad it is over and my glasses are still not totally correct. I just wanted it all to be over. Angela

I placed an order and was given a ship date. Apparently there was an issue with a date match, but nobody from the company called or emailed to verify the information. They let the order sit there open for 2 weeks and I only found out because I called to check the status after the ship date. There was a lot of back and forth with the service rep about what the problem was, and once they got it fixed they offered nothing to help rectify the delay. Rushing the processing wasn't an option they were willing to do. The order has been cancelled, which is really unfortunate considering that I could have gone elsewhere for glasses and already had them. There is no way I could recommend this business to anyone.
