Most of my experience with American Tall has been good, but their customer service (or lack thereof) has ruined that for me. I have ordered several times from their website, and recently I had to return a couple of items. It says on their site that you can ship multiple returns in one package, so I returned a jacket and a pair of joggers in the SAME package. I received the refund for the jacket but three weeks later, I still have not had an email or a refund for the joggers. I have done the online chat and sent emails to customer service, but I keep getting stuck talking to someone named Henry on both options. I explained that the jacket and the pants were in the same package which Henry keeps ignoring- just telling me that the package with the pants will be opened and processed when the package is received. I keep saying that is has clearly already been opened and received since the jacket return was processed, and someone must have either ignored or misplaced the pants and their return slip since they were in there too. He is not interested in actually paying attention to what I'm saying, or even investigating the issue. I even received an email saying that the return slip is expiring in a few days even though they CLEARLY already have the package. So basically, American Tall has stolen my money as I see they've done to other people too.

I bought two pairs of pants from this company. Faux pants and black slim slacks. Both pants run long like how I want them to be. However, the faux pants are a bit too big on me. I ordered 34 by 35-sized faux pants and it is waaaaay too big on me. There was no size chart for me to decipher which size I should order. As of December 10th they NOW have it. I ordered an exchange for a pair that is smaller and I couldn't even zip it up. Their sizes are a joke. The sizes are either too big or too small for me. However, the black slacks were great. I also bought the slim black slacks 12 extra tall pants and they fit fine. They run a little big on the ankles. The model looks skinny in them on the website for the faux and the slacks. I am pretty skinny for my height (5' 11", 165 lbs). American Tall I thought you were supposed to help tall people find the perfect size for them. Not all tall people are fat. I do not think I will buy from this company again. Maybe I will look at their long sleeve shirts, dresses, or blouses. But I will most definitely not buy pants from this company again. Their size chart is very frustrating when the thigh part on the pants looks too big on me. I hope they fix it and run their pants skinnier. I decided to give American Tall a second chance and bought a long sleeve extra tall and faux pants. The long sleeve fits perfectly. I ordered a 32 x 35. It still looks baggy in the legs but it's tight around the waist. Their sizes are a joke. If I go smaller, it won't fit me around the waist. If I order a bigger size, it will look baggy around the thighs and calves. American tall if you're reading this, please have a super skinny size bc it is very baggy around the thighs and calves. I will only buy long sleeve shirts from this store from here on out. Not going to buy pants anymore from this company. If you're tall, do not buy faux pants. Their sizes need to be fixed. Now I officially won't buy from this company ever again knowing that they're not American made anymore. They now reside in Canada. The fabric in their clothing is also not healthy and toxic.

Less than one star Absolute worst customer service - actually they never responded they hide behind automated torture menu to wear you out big giant loop of questions. no humans - no phone number- support email never gets response ........ RUN AS FAST AS U CAN - their are other stores on the planet.

I ordered a pair of pants from the American Tall website, size 34x36. Upon receiving the pants, they were very nice, but too big. On their website and email flyer, they have printed "EASY RETURNS" in all caps, so I initiated a return on their website. After entering my order number, the website responded: "This product is not eligible for return." I thought this was a mistake and contacted them. But instead of an "easy return" like you'd expect on Amazon, they wanted me to measure the pants and show them photographic proof. I measured the pants, which were a size 36 even though they were labeled a 34. After a few more emails, I was told that the product was a clearance item, which is why it didn’t qualify for a return. I was surprised I hadn’t seen this warning anywhere. After some searching, I found the warning on their website which was listed at the bottom of their checkout page, which isn’t even visible on my browser. Regardless, the item was not the size that was advertised, and it should be replaced at the very least. They said there was nothing they could do, so I asked to speak to their manager. I was then contacted by another agent, who continued to explain that I could not exchange the product, even though they admitted the product was mislabeled. At this point, I reminded them of their mission statement on their website… "We want you to love our clothing as much as we do. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, please let us know immediately and we'll do everything we can to make it right." I told them I was obviously not satisfied, and asked for a refund. This had been going on for a month now and they still refuse to give me a full refund, so I wrote to the CEO of their company, Jake Rajsky, who never responded. I've since written to the BBB for a resolution.

Terrible customer service. Inconsistent sizing. No after sale support. Trapped me with a 'free exchange.' Clothes still didn't fit and would not refund money.

The after sale service is totally not cooperative. We had an issue with delivery but they refuse to contact UPS and will let the problem die. I spent 300€ for nothing. Worst buying experience ever.

I’ve bought many sweatpants and they all fall apart within a week. Not worth the money. They are long lengths sure but they are so cheaply made. Don’t bother with this company.

I have so far bought a few shirts and T shirts. From my experience, they're good. Extra Length for me is a big bonus when I bend down or work my back isn't seen. Decent quality made especially for tall people. My boy friend is 6 ft 230 pounds and carry weight differently. Be careful of sizing, some XLT shirts are tighter and most XXLT sizes fit me.
