I have been purchasing from AMS since 2020. I’ve never had a bad experience with them. The terms are straight forward and consistent. The only criticism that I can think of is the payment due date is different because they charge on a 28 day cycle. Although, they may have changed it by now- which would be great! But I do plan on purchasing from here again- and you should too!

Unbeatable financing options. Super fast shipping. I mean, its extraordinary to get all of these benefits from a company these days. I absolutely recommend shopping with AMS.

Had item in stock but never shipped

This company has gone downhill. I have a 3 day old brand new ibanez guitar and they wont even let me exchange it.the customer service was rude to me and got upset and hung up becuase I asked to speak to another agent because I was unable to understand broken english that my agent spoke. I have bought thousands of dollars of equipment from american music supply over a 30 year span but no more after being treated so poorly! Just get your stuff from musicians friend or guitar center. They will at least let you exchange a brand new item thats within the return guidelines!

Fraud. And I do not use that word lightly. I purchased a Limited Edition bass from them. Waited over a week. Finally asked where my bass was, they told me they had sold it three times, and I wasn’t the one who was getting it. I have emails and voicemails.

Bought a Mesa Mark 2c++ from them. There are only 200 of these. Thought I was all set. 3 days later I ask when its expected to ship and they tell me they oversold and it won't. During these 3 days I could've gotten one elsewhere. To this moment if I hadn't contacted them I still wouldn't know. Now supply has evaporated everywhere. Not even a sorry from them. Just atrocious way to do business.

Inside theft of credit card info resulting in almost $2000 in fraudulent charges. Associate JASON E is a thief, and a liar. Avoid this company AT ALL COST.

I ordered an acoustic guitar that was out of stock. They sent me an email explaining to me that I could call and cancel the order, or wait and when the guitar comes in, I would be notified. They sent the case right away, and within 2 weeks, I received the guitar. American Musical was great in their communication with me. I liked and took advantage of their no credit check financing. I will order from them in the future.
