The campers are junk and they know it but try to pin damage on you when you drop off.

Set us up for a unsafe trip. Paid for load leveling hitch and they did not want to give it to me. Tried to tell me my truck was big enough even though trailer weighed more than truck. They knew I would be traveling from TX to Grand Canyon. The saddles they attached to the trailer failed the first day of travel. The propane tanks and wiring are located so you cannot mount saddles in correct location. Stopped at a travel trailer retailer in NM and they helped us out. They gave me two short 2x4 pieces to block the wheels. They did not offer any real chalks or leveling pads. Told me I would not need them as most spots are paved. No they are not! It has been about 20 years since I trailer camped but before then my family did 2 weeks of cross country travel every summer. We never stayed in a paved spot. We spent a couple nights learning to the side and fridge not working correctly and had to throw out food. There was a electrical problem with the trailer as we could not use the power jack or slide unless we were tied to shore power or connected to truck. Kitchen table was not connected correctly and would always be twisted when we would stop. Did not tell us about galley tank waste tank. So drove up over the mountains of NM and eastern AZ pulling a few hundred pounds extra.

We had an excellent experience. It was our first time renting a motor home. They were very helpful every step of the way. We will definitely be using them again!

The RV we rented was expensive, in terrible repair, and dirty. The slideout contained the dining table, which was where my children rode on our trip. It kept coming out while ON THE FREEWAY, placing my children at great risk of being impacted at high speeds by oncoming traffic. We had to pull over many, many times during our trip to bring the slideout back in, but within 30 minutes it would be out again by a foot or more. It was extremely dangerous, and the company offered NOTHING in return. We will NEVER rent with them again, ever and would not recommend them to anyone.

I rented a motor home and it was an old one. One day the generator quit working. After calling ADV, they instructed me to take it to be repaired and they would refund me when I returned it. I did so. A few days later the brakes seized and made a horrible grinding noise. Again I called ADV and they told me to take it to a specific location for repair and again I was forced to pay for the repair with my own funds again but with the promise they would refund me when I returned. Not only did I lose 2 days of my vacation while driving out of my own way burning expensive gasoline and ADV did not refund me for the extra gasoline or cell phone charges, they ignored my form I sent in (as instructed) to get refunded for the expensive repairs (well over $1,000) I paid for their motor home. Not only that, but the deposit I had to pay? They never refunded it either. I would never ever recommend American Dream Vacations to everyone. I have had to edit this negative review for them twice because they have complained that I have used negative words to describe my negative experience. If they actually want a GOOD REVIEW, they can pay the charges they promised!!!

My experience with American Dream Vacations was a great one. They were very clear during explanation of rental policies and very thorough when walking me through the operation of the motor homes features. They were up front about pricing and there were no hidden fees. I will definitely rent from them again.

Great place! They helped me out with everything! I never took a camper/mobile home by myself before and they showed me how to do everything. Very patient and friendly! (The Fort Smith, AR location off of I-40)

Rental was OK but be sure to make an extremely thorough inspection of the RV and write down absolutely every flaw you see. We were charged because of a loose ceiling panel in the RV when we returned it. I hadn't paid any attention to it when I saw it soon after leaving the American Dream Vacations lot.
