America Israel Tours® (AIT) America Greece Tours®Reviews of americaisraeltours.com

We were part of the group tour and were not directly involved with much of the tour set up. Our interaction with American Israel Tours was great. I do know the direct representatives for our large group experienced the same. There are so many large and small planning issues to consider and your company was helpful all the way through. There was organized and timely information passed to us that made the pre trip less stressful. With our input, your choice of tour sites and length of stays seemed to be just what we wanted. The accommodations were very comfortable with great views. Our bus was exceptionally clean with a fantastic driver. We never felt one time unsafe and Doron was always helpful and friendly. Our guide, Shimon Zemer, has to be the best there is. Besides being fun, friendly, and helpful; he brought the many sites to life with his knowledge of the scripture and archeology. He really became endeared to us and we will always remember him & miss him. If we should ever be able to go back someday, it would have to be with Shimon as guide. Thank you for an organized and wonderful experience.

Very interesting trip , saw many interesting places and met some very nice people! Our guides, Tamar and Omar, were great!! Hotels were ok, we didnt like the one in Tel Aviv because it seemed to be in a bad area and needed updating. Our driver going to Jordan and back to the airport, didnt seem to know what was going on-not very helpful- and we were left on our own to figure things out. There was a lot of confusion as to where people were supposed to be dropped off. All said, interesting and educational, esp Petra.

We had a wonderful time! Our guides were exceptional! We always felt safe, well taken care of, well-informed, and comfortable. Thank you for making this trip… A trip of a lifetime. 🙂

My husband Jeff and I just returned from our Israel trip today and I wanted to write and give you feedback while it is still fresh in my mind and before I get lost in the reality of everyday living. I am not as eloquent as our tour guide, Yair. None the less, I need to communicate our experience with you. First of all, AIT did a wonderful job of organizing and planning our transportation, lodging and daily activities. From the moment we got off the airplane in Tel Aviv to the moment we were met for our departure in Tel Aviv, everything was done efficiently and with courtesy. Pauline’s “prep” letter was also of great help, in which she spelled out in detail, suggestions and more or less some protocol. The tip about taking one skirt really worked great for me! Also, taking singles and fives. Great ideas. My husband loved the map and I enjoyed the journal! Our favorite hotel was the (Herod’s)Dead Sea hotel which overlooked the Dead Sea with our little balcony. They had the best food too. My husband and I are in our sixties and we haven’t been in a pool in a while. However after experiencing the “floating” in the Dead Sea, we rinsed ourselves off and enjoyed the swimming pool along with other people our age! Somehow we lost our embarrassment about being in a swimsuit. However the real reason I am writing this letter is to convey our feelings and thoughts about our devoted tour guide, Yair, without whom, this experience would not have been the same. This young man contains a wealth of knowledge in history, archeology, linguistics, religion, politics, as well as the knowledge of his country (its’ nuances, customs, traditions, peoples). He is articulate as well as multilingual. We felt completely comfortable and safe in his hands. With these skills he made our tours interesting and informative. It was an education as well as a spiritual experience. I love the way he commands respect and yet respects others. He is invaluable. He is a natural leader and a respectful communicator. He has the ability to make people feel like they are genuinely cared for. He’s realistic and doesn’t sugar coat things. I love that. We were a great responsibility for him and he carried it out with such grace and proficiency. We can’t say enough about Yair. Amazing! Awesome. Another important mention is about our bus driver, Nissan (I’m sure that is not the correct spelling). With all the mountain climbing and curves and maneuvers from here to there; he was quite the expert driver. I believe I trusted him more behind the wheel then my own husband. He was also very friendly and hospitable. Thank You AIT

I would recommend this company very good people trust worthy, reliable and fun. Had a blast in Israel, the Holyland and would return in a heartbeat.

I had a opportunity to spend 10 days in Israel with AIT leading the way with my travel arrangements and tour. They did an excellent job preparing me for my trip and recommending various things to make it more pleasant. I allowed them to book my airline tickets to and from, which was a great idea because there were some who booked their own flights who had rough connecting flights, or did not get to Israel with the rest of the group. Accommodations were 5 star all the way, the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure your stay was pleasant. The daily tours were awesome and the tour guide made sure we opened our bibles to read each day based on where we were at. She was very knowledgeable about biblical and Israeli history, and she was able to make connection to present day throughout the trip. The tours were packed each day, so be prepared and know this isn't a vacation to relax. This tour is meant to learn more about Israel and build your knowledge about what we read in the word of God. She did a great job allowing us time to rest here and there, and recognized places we may want to sit and reflect on what happened. I wish we had a little more time to spend in certain places, maybe to do a bible study of sorts, but she had to keep us moving along. My only disappointment came with the last day, which is considered our free day. It seems like AIT could have put a little more effort on helping us better plan that day, they spent 5 minutes telling us what our possible options were, but didn't make any effort to help facilitate anything. I would have liked to see them make an attempt to arrange either transportations to various sites, or church services. They didn't need to be guided, just help with getting us to and from. Also, many of us were just worn out that last day and a nice day relaxing at the hotel would also be a great option. We had to check out at 11am, but our bus to the airport didn't leave until 630pm. Maybe allowing us to pay a little extra to have the benefit of checking out late, so we wouldn't have to wait in the lobby for the airport transportation. All in all, this was the experience of a lifetime. I'll never be the same and intend to share my experience any way I can. I will definitely be making plans to head back and use AIT for the next trip. I've already started to recommend AIT to others and letting them know how safe it truly is to be in Israel. I didn't feel one bit of danger the entire time I was there.

America Israel Tours was wonderful from our first phone call to them. They were there to answer every question we had. The itinerary they sent was exactly what we saw. Our tour guide, Tamar, was Wonderful- personable & knowledgeable!! Bus driver, David, always there for us. We felt safe at all times! This was the Christian tour of Roots of Your Faith & it was great for our tour guide to have us read from the Bible at these very special Biblical locations. This was truly an amazing, emotional pilgrimage. Hotels were also exceptional!! We did the extended trip to Petra & Jordan & here also AIT made perfect arrangements for this part of our trip. 5 star company!!!!

I enjoyed reading out loud from the Bible at various sites. A very thorough tour.
