Great price, fast shipping!

I found ordering a medication for my little terrier -- a medication that keeps her alive -- a little daunting, especially from an unknown online source and in ordering a generic version. The was TWO major concerns. Our experience has been, however, spot on, so far, with a swift delivery and a medication that is doing precisely what it is supposed to do. Way to go, Allivet! Dr. G.

Allivet allows me to easily purchase my dog's medication without going to the vet's office or even contacting my vet. Their shipments are always timely and items are very well priced.

My dog takes a large quantity of gabapentin. He is 14 plus & this medicine is critical. I try to order well in advance, but sometimes there were glitches. For example, Allivet would fax approval to my vet to fill the prescription. Little did I know the vet’s office might not immediately respond...that day. This happened once while I was assuming the process was moving forward..WRONG! After that I said to Allivet they need to inform me if they didn’t receive the approval so I could call my vet’s office. They are doing that now. So rather than lose 3 days, I only lost 1 day as the office faxed what was necessary the following day because Allivet emailed me they were sending a second request. Unfortunately this was a Friday & I knew it could take 24-48 hours to fill. The other problem is shipping. The free shipping can take 5-7 days. This has become more problematic as UPS doesn’t deliver direct, but has some arrangement with USPS, cheaper for them, for the final leg. So you can see it is hard to judge timing. Although I ran out of medication this past Tuesday, I bought a day’s worth....6 plus 4 more, just in case from my vet, if it didn’t arrive Weds. It did arrive Weds.! So that was an improvement & I will re-order sooner to cover these contingencies.

I love the prices and convenience of Allivet. The only problem I had was with the auto-order option, so my pup got her meds a little late. That only occurred once and on initial setup, and there have been no problems since. I love Allivet!
