We booked them based on positive reviews but were disappointed with the unprofessional and poor client service. Damaged furniture, lost items and we were charged more for additional weight that was never delivered. Do yourself a favor and find a different company.

Quick, friendly, treated our things with care, and quickly moved us across the bay! The three-person crew was a pleasure to deal with and did everything we asked of them. I know that I will never use another company besides them again!

PHEMOMENAL EXPERIENCE! I found out about my move 3 weeks before I had to be out of my home! My anxiety level was through the roof, I had not done a state to state move in over 30 years, I spoke to Paul(I thought he may be a distant cousin), and after speaking with him for a few minutes, he immediately put my mind at ease! Paul was professional, and obviously experienced, and most of all her truly understood what I was dealing with in regard to my anxiety! He spent close to an hour with me on the phone if not longer, and he not only answered all my questions, but his professionalism and knowledge far exceeded my expectations! From that point he responded any and all of my questions and concerns, as well he was available for all my follow calls(believe there were many), and he even provided me an after hours text line so if I had a question at anytime he was available! Their customer service team was AWESOME! THANK YOU AGAIN Jennifer for being so patient with many many questions! The guys arrived, looked through everything before putting one item on the truck, and once they went through everything, they loaded my stuff on the truck, and I wasn't charged a dollar more(thank god for the inventory call 3 days before because i had a few extra items to add)! The items were delivered quickly, and Paul explained the time frame honestly, and did not make promises he could not keep! Also the guys had traffic issues when delivering my stuff, but always called to let me know they were behind! My company reimbursed me for the move, and when I explained how great my experience was they are now using Paul from Alliance exclusively, and my sister is moving as well and has used Alliance Van Lines as well!! Do yourself a favor, and use Alliance Van Lines for all your moves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I set up a last minute move. I was given a quote and during pick up and delivery was given a more expensive price. I was told i had to pay extra for gas and tolls. The men were less than helpful during pick with my questions regarding space and packing concerns for my more fragile pieces which they said would be put in crates. Upon delivery multiple items were broken and lost hardware to put different pieces of furniture back together. Customer service gave me the run around until the actual delivery and did not note any of my concerns in the file. Now they are telling me I incurred additional costs for space according to the men that showed up. It's all hear say. The actual inventory was vague. I would not recommend nor use this company or any company they suggest again

I havent even moved yet and can get no customer service to get answer regarding the move the sales rep.Gary S. will not respond to emails and their customer service people are rude I am a senior citizen already stressed by this move and seem to beforgotten once the deposit was made. Also, pay close attention to the "binding estimate" as that is the charge for them preparing the estimate of $2250.30 the customer service rep stated this when I questioned it.

They sent us four men and a 28' truck, and they moved us out of a 2,000 square foot house with THREE levels in under two hours, got us across town, AND moved us into the new house in under two hours. The antiques were handled very well and thoroughly/neatly wrapped. Additionally, we had 25 pallets we needed to be moved and thought they wouldn't fit on the truck. So we'd reserved a separate U-Haul for the following day. They were so space-efficient in their truck packing that there was room for all the pallets, which they loaded up for us without an issue or complaint. We canceled the U-Haul, and they saved us a lot of time and effort the following day. I'd HIGHLY recommend them for your move!!

WORST experience I've ever had with any company - their customer service philosophy is practically non-existent. They told me so many different things for a selling sake and none of it was true when it came to the real service. Nothing happened as it was supposed to: - scheduling a pick up time - receiving my things "within 7-10 days" (got it after more than two weeks) - every person I spoke to either withheld info from me or yelled at me The 2 biggest thing I am upset about is 1. I had requested my personal data as a customer and for it to be deleted (and according to CA law, this is a right that I have) but I was instead told that I am not allowed to have access to my own information and that I was a waste of their time. And 2. When they finally arrived, I had a few of my things broken and no one will respond to my inquiries.The amount of mental and emotional stress and anxiety they gave to me is not worth the amount they charged me - DO NOT use them!

Let me walk you through our AWFUL experience with this company. It started with a phone call from the broker who did offer me the cheapest estimate I could find for our move from NYC to FL. He rushed me through the contract and so I verbally asked how long would this take and he said on average 5-7 days. Making me feel like our stuff would get there within a week. When I went to call to check in our stuff a few days later they said they couldn't give me the phone number of the moving company. So I waited a week later the moving company said that our stuff had been unloaded to a warehouse and would be about another week till a truck got there to take it to FL. We called and customer service person at Alliance and they were so rude. They repeatedly told us that we should have read the contract better & they only reason they're taking our call is because we were taking up space on there line. Then our price was practically doubled by the movers and we saw them throwing our items into the truck. Needless to say when it got here it was all broken. My couple thousand dollar sewing machine is in pieces and the coverage will be about $100 for it. Our TV's are broken, bookshelves, china cabinets. Then on top of that the movers were super pushy. They kept asking for help, asking how much we were going to tip. THIS WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND ENDED UP COSTING US 3X THE AMOUNT QUOTED.
