I left the call feeling far less stressed and actually hopeful for the first time in a long while about getting this mess sorted out. I received a letter from the IRS and it’s really been keeping me up late at night. I’ve been so stressed. Today, I picked up the phone to call for help and Leo at alleviates.com picked up on the other end. It ended up being a big blessing for me. He was informative, patient and kind all at the same time. This company is a scam!!! I asked several times if they would be able to help me with my taxes. I was guaranteed they would be there to help me with my tax issues. I asked if they could do an amendment and was offered a CPA, tax attorney etc…. I already had a tax advocate and was told to stop contact and they would take care of everything for me 10 months later I was in a worst position. Owing more to the IRS I have send emails along with several phone calls and no response from them yet. I could go on with more details on how I was treated. I have had several case workers and to my understanding all of the caseworkers have been promoted. So every time I would contact them it was always a different caseworker. Asking for a supervisor is also like pulling teeth.With my experience I would say stay away from this company!!!!

Alleviate Tax is a scam. They assure you that they can get a better resolution for you then what the IRS has offered because they have these experienced tax experts on staff as part of their team, and they are not able to deliver. They require you to pay for the services, in my case $4,000, before they even know what resolutions they will be able to obtain. Do not be fooled by the reviews on their website. Read the complaints on the Better Business Bureau website. They use the same tactics to mislead customer. I wish I had read the BBB complaints on this company first. This is a lesson well learned, to read the complaints on a company first. Reviews on the company website can be fake.
