I feel seen and heard and not just rushed through the office. And, the providers show up on time! I am enjoying my interaction with Allara so far and my doctor works with my local doctor seamlessly.

My provider really listens to my concerns. I feel validated and not like they’re clueless, I also don’t feel like they want to just medicate symptoms.

My first appointment with Allara gave me the opportunity to have a meeting with my new provider Dr.Yung. She was so present and helpful, she wanted some background and she dug into my past, she wanted the whole picture and ordered labs to help with her search to find a better health journey for me. I felt heard and I felt like I was in the right place. For so long I have not been heard and that feeling is so discouraging but I am happy I made the decision to join allara, it’s only my first appointment but I truly have faith in Allara and my doctor. The tele health was a harder thing for me because I’m used to seeing my doctor in person but honestly, I felt like it didn’t matter, I felt like the screen was her in person, like she was so present and focused on me, the patient, which is so important. My previous providers have rushed, turned me away and ignored my concerns but in a matter or 45 minutes I felt reassured I made the right decision. Thank you Dr.Yung for being the change, whether or not you know I’m so happy to have been able to finally experience peace with knowing I was heard. :)

Dawn and the team have made me feel heard and listened to. I had a vasovagal episode a few weeks ago while getting my blood drawn and messaged them on the app. Not only did they get back to me immediately, they followed up with a phone call.

Allara focuses on the health of women and personalizes each care plan on the basis of each patient's lab work, lifestyle, and goals. Allara isn't a cookie-cutter program for wellness and weight loss that just feeds half-truths to its patients in order to make money.

I had a great experience with Dr. Sweeney; the nutritionist was subpar and I felt that I didn't learn anything and she wasn't very knowledgeable. It felt that she was making recommendations for me for the sake of short-term goals, but in pursuit of nothing long term. Allara's whole nutrition philosophy is basically what is in the book "The Glucose Goddess" and you can get that for $20, not $120/month. This service is great if you're recently diagnosed or you feel your condition is not under control, but if your condition is, you simply drain $120/month. This isn't a sustainable solution long term when you can go to other doctors that are insurance covered.

Allara has been wonderful. I can't recommend their services enough! Before working with Allara, my periods were becoming irregular again with cycles lasting 40, 50, and even 78 days. As soon as I started working with Allara, my periods have been 38/39/35 days long, which has been great! I get labs done and meet with my NP every 6-8 weeks to discuss results and adjust our strategy. For about 4 months, I met with my dietitian weekly to meal plan and map out my physical activity schedule and/or to discuss any other issues that came up. Meeting weekly was really important for establishing new healthy habits (once a month isn't enough support for me to do that!). We focused on 1-2 small, achievable changes at a time to ensure incremental success that built on itself rather than trying to rush to the finish line and burning out too fast in the process. Altogether, I feel like I am working with a collaborative team of professionals, all committed to improving my health- which is such a welcome relief compared to the piecemeal care I was able to hodge-podge together on my own before working with Allara. I was diagnosed with PCOS ten years ago and put on metformin right away, but the medical/professional support since then has been inconsistent and not strategic at all. Working with my NP and dietitian at Allara has helped me feel more knowledgeable about my body and my PCOS, as opposed to the exhaustive/endless self-education I've done to learn about PCOS, trying to understand from my broad research what was relevant to MY specific experience of PCOS. 10 out 5 stars! Allara has completely transformed my healthcare experience. For the first time ever, I look forward to my appointments because I feel truly seen, heard, and understood. It's been a game changer.
