We took this tour in Easter Island and Patagonia because of the good quality small group tours of A&R. We like to meet fellow travelers. A&R has changed the dates of its tours and consequently we got a private tour as nobody else had a chance to show up. Which is not what we wanted. Also starting the tour in Easter Island when 100% of travelers MUST go there is a very strange and illogical idea Nothing major to say on the tour itself as A&R had limited impact on it: subcontract to a local agency (very poor quality) in Easter Island, total organization by the Camp in Patagonia (very good) ... You can easily directly book these contractors services by yourselves for less money, An as you have anyway to book by your self your flight to Easter Island ... A&E is a very limited help.

We have traveled with many other companies, but none can compare to the quality & care we received from Alexander & Roberts. The itinerary was just what we expected only done with flair & 1st class. All the adventures were diverse & exciting. We live in the northwest of USA & are very familiar with "Jet Boat" rides, but this one was to knock your socks off! Fiordland & Milford Sound were Spiritual. Bungy Bridge took 2 of our 13 over the edge with their permission of course. Birdlife Park & the Native Bird enclosure provided a chance to see the unique species up close & personal. Wine tasting wasn't just wine, but a flavorful array of foods to feast upon as we tasted different wines of our own choice. Arrowtown was a short stop, but I found enough time to purchase a lovely, well made shirt for Ed and a gorgeous wool sweater for myself & still have time to sit & enjoy freshly baked lamb pie with a glass of wine. At the Goldfields Mining Center the curator demonstrated an authentic stamp mill. We have visited many mines in our travels, but never have seen one of these & working to boot!. Clyde was a favorite with the wonderful boutique lodge, garden & restaurant - so relaxing. Outstanding hosts! Our guide, John Wellington, was the best ever - so full of history & cultural stories, local information about what we were viewing, its context to todays events and info on tourism, government, currency,& farming. We are now spoiled in traveling preferences. Our next trip will definitely be through Alexander & Roberts! And THANK YOU for our experiences in NZ.

My first experience with Alexander + Roberts was one that would bring me back to them for any future travel tours, The guide was first class, the in-tour transportation was always ready and waiting for us, and the sites chosen for us to visit gave plenty of variety. I couldn't ask for more. Well done!

North and South Island tours on NewZealand. Guides were wonderful and small group made everything more manageable. Details were all handled perfectly.

Our last trip with Alexander & Roberts to Ecuador and the Galápagos was amazing and stress free. Our trip to Africa with Alexander & Roberts had a few bumps in the road dealing with lack of communication, but the trip overall was a very special experience.

I am a solo traveler and often avoid groups as I’ve had some so-so experiences. This trip will go down as an all time favorite! From the moment that I was picked up at the airport until I was dropped off I was totally taken care of, and felt very safe. Our guide Carlos was with us most of the tour and he is exceptional. The group of 15 travelers just hit it off and we had a lot of fun together and supported each other to make the hike or when the “Inca Revenge” hit we took care of each other. I look forward to my next tour with A&R.

Wonderful trip to Israel and Jordan. Our guides were knowledgeable and helpful in every way. We had two people on our trip who had difficulty walking and our guide made sure they had a nice place to wait for the group when they were tired. The sites selected were perfect and time allotted to visit was appropriately timed. Hotels chosen were good and meals provided were delicious.
