I bought $1000 worth of alarm equipment from them (a Honeywell wireless system with extra sensors), installed everything myself, and then signed up with them for self-monitoring. I was going to sign up with another monitoring company that a friend recommended, but AlarmGrid's service has been so fantastic, they've answered several questions by email (very quickly, and accurately), and they have so much useful technical information on their web site, and the technician who called to walk me through configuring my alarm for the monitoring was friendly and knew exactly what she was doing. All in all a terrific experience!

I was looking to eliminate my telephone landline connection so I purchased and installed the Honeywell GSMV4G-TC2 - AlarmNet Total Connect 2.0 Upgrade Kit cellular alarm communicator from Alarm Grid. The installation and alarm monitoring activation was simple with the help of Alarm Grid (& their YouTube videos). I arranged an appointment early before work and the folks at Alarm Grid walked me through each step of the process helping me set-up the system and get my AlarmNet Total Connect set-up, running and tested within an hour. Now my family and I have control of our home alarm system from our PC's and smart devices. Overall, Alarm Grid's service and support was excellent and I would rate them A+.

I ordered a new DIY (do it yourself) alarm system to upgrade my existing hardwired system that was in the house that I purchased. Sterling at Alarm Grid was very patient with me, providing costs and options for me as well as technical support. The prices are very fair and the Honeywell L7000 alarm system is excellent. I tied my existing hardwired zones into the new system with an adapter board and added many other alarm sensors like smoke/heat, water flood (for the air conditioner emergency overflow drip pans) as well as remote dongle keys. The YouTube videos and the telephone support made the installation job easy. When the activation time came, the technician called at the appointment time and within 1 hour the system was activated, correctly programmed and configured and I can access everything through the Total Connect application on my smartphone and PC. If you are the DIY type you should definitely consider using Alarm Grid. Excellent products and service and I saved at least $1,000 with the extensive system I installed. Of course, much simpler and lower costs options are available. If I could give them more stars I would.

I was able to get many system questions answered before I ever spent a dime with their online chat function. Connie really knows the products. My 1 hr activation window was easily scheduled online through their website and the technician was right on time with the call. The activation process took less than 15 minutes and Frank took the remaining 45 minutes to educate me on their software and my alarm panel. Since then I have had 5 more installs and they were as smooth as the 1st. Thank you.

We built a new home and an alarm system was included. The company that did the installation probably did so as an investment, thinking we'd sign with them for monitoring services. And I was considering that, until I decided to make some changes to the system and asked the alarm company to give me the codes necessary for me to make the modifications I wanted. Not only were their prices triple (at least) what it would cost me to do these things myself, they refused to give me access to a system I now owned. A little online research took me to Alarm Grid, where their library of videos told me exactly how to do the things I wanted. In no time I had my own codes in the system along with full control. I made my modifications and signed on with Alarm Grid for monitoring. The cost was less than half of what the local alarm company was offering, with no contracts and an easy to use smartphone/tablet application for remote monitoring and control of the system. The days of being at the mercy of a traditional alarm company are over. I am glad I found Alarm Grid and have been telling friends and family about this great service.

I don't write reviews very often, but we've been so happy with Alarm Grid, I felt compelled to share our experience. Prior to Alarm Grid, we were being monitored by ADT. The monthly costs were high, the system did not fit our needs, and their phone support was terrible. Once we were able to get out of our contract, we decided to go with Alarm Grid and have not regretted that decision! Not only are their monthly fees significantly lower then ADT's rates, but we were able to customize our system and pick and choose all the components that WE wanted. They also offer a large range security gear and gadgets (wired and wireless systems, touch screen keypads, home automation, security cameras, etc). And you're not locked in to a long term contract, you can cancel at any time and keep the equipment you paid for (unlike ADT which locks you in to multi year deals and offer proprietary equipment that only works with their service). Last but not least, their support has been excellent. Any time we've had a problem, Alarm Grid was available to help and walk us through the process.

From the Discussion online with the sales person Connie, to the shipping, receiving and installation, the process was flawless. The units were labeled clearly. All the sensors, panels and key fobs worked perfectly right out of the box. What was the most pleasant surprise was the activation. The interactive session was great. It was easy to follow the instructions. It was nice being able to do the entire process online and over the phone. No waiting for someone to show up. No need to interrupt the day for appointments. Set up your activation based on your schedule. I would highly recommend Alarm Grid and their lynx alarm and monitoring to anyone.

Coming from an ex alarm installer and one who has many friends that currently work for the "big" companies I am impressed. I installed my own Ademco panel with 18 zones at my business. First I researched online and found Alarmgrid to have the best reviews. Their price was more than fair. I then called to ask a few questions and their rep Frank was more than friendly and knowledgable. I ordered online and set an appointment for 5-6pm the next day. The next day at 5:01 my phone rang and Frank walked me through the set up process for central station monitoring. Bing, bam boom we were done! Easy as ordering a pizza! If they keep this up they will dominate their market. Kudos Alarmgrid!!! Thanks for a painless process....
