I HIGHLY recommend Alarm Grid for all your security needs. I recently moved into a new house that had an old 20P panel in it and the only way to have it monitored was to have a phone line. Who has a phone line anymore? I'm a technically savvy person and it was very easy for me to swap out the panels and program the new system. I love having complete control over my system with the TC2.0 app. I also added a siren and additional interior motion to my system very easily by just reading the instructions and watching the videos. I had a couple basic questions and the support team was all over it and responded really quickly. Alarm Grid rocks!!

I self installed a Vista 10-P system in 2001, it was time to upgrade. I decided maybe this time I should go with a commercial installer and I picked Vivint which debited my credit card before any work was done site unseen $1200.00 with $50 dollar monthly monitoring, they couldn't install on the date they promised so I canceled, it took me 3 weeks to get my deposit back to my Visa card. So then I decided to go with a local alarm company they wanted $350 and $40 a month monitoring with a one year contract, they treated me like a stupid consumer, told me they didn't want me messing with the programming or hardware hands off, my wife easily talked me out of that and I canceled before installing and making any payment. Long story short with help from Alarm Grid I was able to install a Vista 21-ip and have it monitored. I like having control over the programming, monitoring terms and sensor details. Excellent customer service!! A local cell tower was down, and my alarm system it keep beeping, no matter how many times i acknowledged the error code... very annoying! I reached out to Alarm Grid and not one time was I asked for a credit card before I could speak with a technician, or even during the conversation. this shows they genuinely want to help their customers. I highly recommend this honest company!

I was looking to replace my 25 year-old hardwired NAPCO alarm system. After doing much research on the web, I zeroed in Alarm Grid because of their informative website. After several conversations with their planning team, I determined the best group of sensors for my plan 48 zone system Vista 21IP. Tech support during the installation process was great and helpful. My programming phone call had everything working on the first call. I plan to continue adding my automation devices to this system and so far, that has also been a wonderful experience. While researching security systems for my new home, I found Alarm Grid's website. Using just the information I found on Alarm Grid's website, I was able to use a Honeywell 5800C2W to convert the existing hardwired system in the house to a Honeywell Lyric wireless system and use an Encore Firefighter FF345 to integrate my Nest Protect smoke / CO2 detectors. Alarm Grid activated central monitoring during a scheduled phone call just two days later. Now, I can easily add additional sensors to complete the system. Alarm Grid has a tremendous amount of information and Q&A support on their website, and if my activation call was any indication, superb phone support as well. Alarm Grid delivered outstanding customer service, flexibility in the types of sensors they support, and reasonable pricing. I've been an ADT customer for 18 years, and they've delivered atrocious customer service throughout. I've also been a Guardian commercial customer for about 5 years. The existing system in the house was by Vector, so I also reviewed a proposal from them. Vector provided great pre-sale service, but was simply not flexible enough for my needs. I have no reservations about choosing Alarm Grid for my new home.

I have an old, quirky system (not one Alarm Grid sold me), and Frank from their customer service team went above and beyond in helping me get set up and troubleshoot a host of problems. Frank even worked past the end of his shift to help me get everything working before I had to leave town. Critically, Frank's service wasn't just good intentions and effort, he was very capable all along the way.
