Inquired about a domain that was listed with a "Buy Now" price of $4,200. They jacked the price up several times -- 6k, 9k, all the way up to $28,999 asking price. I initially didn't want to even pay 4k, but ultimately did decide to pay 4.2k after the seller offered a "quick sale". They turned down that offer and said the best they can now do is 6k, and that's only good for one week. I told them to keep the domain I registered something else. What shady practices this company uses. It's a very niche name that I would be highly surprised sells anywhere near what they are asking. Update: Totally understand that a seller can list a domain for any price they want, but it is unethical/shady not only as the domain owner but also the company brokering the domain from $4,200 all the way to $28,999 after inquiring.

When you register a domain name you have the right to list it for sale, at any price you deem fit to do so at.
