We sincerely apologize for this experience and completely understand your frustration. If a part was advertised as “new” and arrived with another unit’s VIN already programmed into it — along with active fault codes — that is absolutely concerning. A new OEM SAM module or electronic control unit should not have prior programming or stored faults. We take claims like this very seriously. We’re glad to hear the ordering process itself was smooth, but that does not outweigh receiving a unit that appears previously programmed or defective. When it comes to semi-truck and heavy-duty electronic components, accuracy and reliability are critical, especially since these parts directly impact vehicle operation.
