Good stuff but even something as simple…
Good stuff but even something as simple as a quick release plate is expensive.

Hi Ed, Thank you for your review. Our plate prices have been the same for almost 20 years. It used to be that we were the most affordable plates and now with many are being made in China. We thank you, our employees thank you and feel good knowing that you are supporting American made products.

Outstanding piece of engineered…
Outstanding piece of engineered perfection. Unlike any previous ball head or panning head I have used. It’s incredibly light weight but holds the load as described. Despite low inventory because of the nature of production right now it was still delivered in a very reasonable time I’m a big fan

Thank you for the amazing review. Our production has come to a complete stop but we still have stock on the shelf. Photography is a great diversion from the reality we are all living. I hope you are finding comfort in your art. Sincerely, Acratech

I never liked ball heads......
I never liked ball heads and I wanted something lighter than my gimbal head. The Acratech panorama head is a well thought out piece of art. I have It mounted on a tripod with a levelling base which makes for a sweet combination. I would highly recommend it.
