Hi, It appears that this review is intended for a different Acratech because we do not sell software. And although it is a very nice review it is clearly intended for someone else. Also it is a very positive review but you only gave it 1 star. Thank you for removing this review. Scott

We are sorry you find our products are too expensive. Our products are designed and built to last for decades. We have tripod heads that have been used daily for 20 years and are still working today. With our products you get robust strength, lightweight and long term durability. You can find cheaper tripod heads, but you will not find a better tripod head.

You have confused us with some other company. We have been Acratech at this same web address (acratech.net) for over 20 years. You can verify that on the wayback machine website. With a google search, I can see that there is an acratechdrones in the UK. That is not us. I have reported that company to Trustpilot, and to the National Cyber Security Centre in the UK. I feel bad for what happened to you, but please understand the company you are having problems with is not us. They falsely put a link to our Trustpilot account on their website. We work hard to maintain our reputation and our customer service. . Your false misleading and libelous review is causing irreparable harm to our reputation. Please remove this false review immediately or we will be forced to pursue further action.

Hi Richard, I looked up your order and and yes we did respond to you here is our exact response "Hi Richard, Please return the item with a note and we will issue you a refund for the item when we receive it. Sincerely, Patty" It was sent to you on May 3rd. Because all of our tripod heads are designed to be used in extreme conditions we do not use any oil or grease on the movements. Oil and grease can attract dirt and can also freeze in the extreme cold. I recently received an email from a customer who said they were photographing with a group and the temperature was -35F and their Acratech head was the only tripod head in the group that still worked in the cold. So it is possible it is possible that it feels less smooth than some other heads that use oil or grease in the movements. Our design has proven to be a very rugged and reliable for many years and it works well in extreme temperatures. Our lever clamp has a lock, and in addition to the lock the lever has to "cam over" so there is some resistance to release. Our competitor RRS has a patent on the second position stop on the lever clamp, but their lever does not lock. It appears that Leophoto copied the patented RRS design.

Dear Higinio, I am deeply sorry for the delays in transit you are experiencing with your order. The postal systems have been slow since last year, due to Covid. I wish that you would have notified us first as this is now a poor reflection upon us and it is really the postal services that should be receiving a 1 star review. I have put through a request for updates and have included your email to keep you in the loop. Please contact your customs office and see if they can offer you any assistance with tracking your order and maybe they can tell you what is holding it up. They should be trying to contact you to collect any duties and taxes on the order. I will send you an email and will also message you through your online order. This is a review site and we really need to be in direct communication with each other in regards to your shipment. Sincerely, Patty Acratech, Inc.
