I spent over 20 hours on phone calls between Accredo and Express scripts. Each time when express scripts stalled the doctors prescription, I never got a call. Dr never got a call. The biologic just didnt show up on time. First it is pre-auth. Then it is a Checklist of questions the dr has to answer. Son was over a week late for his biologic at that point. They do not understand that if he starts developing antibodies to the biologic if a dose is missed then he needs DOUBLE the dose. That is counterintuitive to their bottom line which we all know is the reason for the corporate infrastructure and hoops in the first place. A couple calls took so long on hold I got disconnected and had to start all over. First 10 questions from a call center. Then waiting and a customer care person also goes through the questions and then I get on hold and a pharmacy tech also has the questions only to say that express scripts is holding up the medicine. Call express scripts. Same call center, questions, etc etc etc. A normal person does not have time or patience for this. I gave up vacation time. I can never get that time back. Anyway, I had three different "CARE" reps tell me his med would be overnighted. One week later I have no calls and no med. I call them and get a recording that accredo is no longer your specialty pharmacy. One week and nobody called me. I call my work insurance manager. 6 days later I hear nothing and call back to work insurance manager and she said that yesterday they told her they were filling his biologic. I told her we are going with another insurance, his secondary. They filled it in 2 days and it will be here in morning. ThEN accredo decides to call. Aking if they should NOT fill it now. I told them it will take two weeks to get it from accredo and they were late many times and had to get my phone call many times to overnight it. This company does not care. They are the most ridiculous excuse for a pharmacy I could EVER dream up. I do not think Florida should allow them to do business in FLORIDA. Stomped on patients rights!

By far the worst pharmacy I have ever used. The representatives are not helpful and often will outright lie to get you off the phone. My Xolair medication has to be administered on a strict schedule and thanks to Accredo I have missed this consistently with delayed shipping or their back office making mistakes. This place is an absolute nightmare. Speak to your doctor and medical insurance to find an alternative.

Accredo is absolutely the worst specialty pharmacy. They are incompetent and cannot send medications on time which endangers the health of patients. They have been 10-14 days late with shipping my medication, xolair, every month for over 6 months straight. I spent hours and hours and hours on the phone with Accredo trying to sort multiple delays out with them and even talked to management several times. Accredo just has no idea what they are doing and they are terribly unorganized. Accredo would schedule my medication shipment, date, but then the medication never shows up! I would call again, and Accredo would give a random reason each time like: Accredo failed to file the correct co-pay insurance; Accredo needs another PA every few months or needs a special authorization; the Accredo pharmacist has a question about my prescription (which had not changed in years). Accredo is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. This has been detrimental to my health. I informed my insurance company and begged my doctor to send me to local infusion center. Accredo is not worth the terrible health that results from their incompetence, their disorganization and their inefficiency, The only thing that Accredo does consistently is FAIL to do a good job.

first off this is the worst pharmacy ever my 5 yr old son has to take a very expensive medication about 1500.00 per shot and if he misses one shot or takes 4-5 days late he will need 2 shots as a refresher which insurance will not pay for well here we are 16 days past his medication they didnt care and don't care about the patients mind you I called them every day for over a month telling them I was running out and was going to need more I they assured me it's on the way which it was not and now they refuse to eat the cost of the extra medication my son has to take because of there stupidity and incompetence worst pharmacy ever had this been log or death my son would be dead then they continue to make up excuses why it didn't come and as soon as i told them I been recording all our conversations we had for the last month the got upset and said that I broke the rules of acreedo pharmacy lol why because I have proof your a bunch of lying sacks of crap

I too have struggled with the raging incompetence that is Accredo. I spent weeks, after an insurance change, trying to get them to send a drug that without my life is at risk. I was shocked at the indifference to the fact I could die without a specific specialty drug. They just could not get me registered into their system under my new insurance who also uses Prime Therapeutics / Accredo. Finally, with 24 hours before my life at risk would be placed at high risk, and with Accredo saying I should pay $8500 out of pocket to guarantee delivery, I called my insurance company who was shocked and dismayed at the incompetence and indifference that every level Accredo showed in my case. Bottom line, my insurance company was great and saved the day. And they have allowed me to bypass Prime Therapeutics / Accredo moving forward and deal directly with them. To all those at tthe Corporate Level making insurance decisions STAY AWAY from any insurer that uses Prime Therapeutics / Accredo as their specialty pharmacy subcontractor.

Started using them in Sept 2022 due to my local pharmacy not able to get my specialty medicine. They called me to get my information and my shipping address and get the first shipment out. They never mentioned anything about billing. They said they could get it to me next tuesday and I said that was fine. A couple days after I found Copay card from the drug manufacturer that I was supposed to use to cover the cost of the drug for up to $13k, I didnt think about it the first call because the lady I talked to never mentioned cost. After calling the drug manufacturer to get the card activated, I called Accredo back to attach this copay card back to my account. I talk to a different lady and explain the situation and she says its fine, attaches my card, and tells me that she will bill the card and I will not have to pay anything. Tuesday comes and i get the meds and everything is fine and dandy. about 4 weeks later I receive a piece of mail stating that i owe $706.64, I was confused as I was told the card will be billed, which it had been As i was on my 2nd order. So i call Accredo back and speak to another lady who says that the billing department is closed but that she will send a request in for the bill to be billed to the copay card, I say okay and go about my business. month or two goes by and im on my 4th order when I receive another piece of mail stating that I have a overdue bill that is 60days old. Now Im mad because im still getting a bill for the FIRST shipment when the all the rest have been billed to the copay card. I call the back once again and tell them how angry im getting because I have had to call 3 times to get this bill worked out and each time ive been told that the copay will be charged and I wont have pay. they apologize and say that they will rebill the card. Im not optimistic and say okay. Months go by and i get mulitple deliveries. Well come Jan 1st. I change insurances which changes the mail order pharmacy so i wont need Accredo but apparently even though they are owned by Cigna they dont communicate because I still receive phone calls asking me to answer questions so another order can be placed. I just ignore them until I get my new insurance figured out. during this time I receive ANOTHER bill once again, this one stating that its been 90days since the bill was issue and that i was soon to be sent to Collections. Angry at this point, I call express scripts who is owned by Accredo who is also sending the bill. Then I am connected with an indian woman who said that I was being billed incorrectly but the only thing she could do about it is talk with Accredo. So I spent 20mins on the phone with someone just to tell me what I already know and that is the company is incompetent and hasn't billed me properly even though they did it fine after the first order. So she tells me that after contacting Accredo that it will be rebilled and that it will take up to 45 days. I say okay. I then call Accredo and have them take me off their call list as by this time, I had received atleast 5 automated calls asking me to place an order for meds even though I dont use them anymore. I thought by talking to the 5 different lady who said she would make a note and a change to my account but boy was I wrong. It is 2 weeks after that call and I still have received 3 calls asking me to refill my meds.

if there is a -1 I would give them that. They are absolutely horrible. People would be dead by the time they get their medication due to all the red tape and the poor communication from the staff who hang up the phone when you call them. Cigna forces this on the customer because they don't want to pay for the medication is the only reason I can think of. I would never pick this company. Who in their right mind would?

I'd give negative stars if I could. Just look at all the other negative reviews all over the internet. Nothing positive to say about this company at all. Ridiculous. Diabolical. Every single time I've dealt with this place it's an absolute horrible experience. Prepare for an hour+ phone call. Rude CS. Hung up on. "Let us look at your info" like I'm a brand new customer and the last person on the line didn't do the exact same thing. It's like the Cable Company loop they try to trap you in when you want to lower your bill. Only you're laying on a bed of nails and you're on fire. Horrible. Avoid this place at all costs if you can. If you're like me and your insurance insists on this place. GOOOOOOOD LUCK!
