I bought this device last August and used it religiously twice a week for a few months hoping to eventually see results. After a while I gave up and stopped trying since it didn’t work within the time frame advertised. No wonder there isn’t a longer money back guarantee. I’m extremely disappointed in this waste of money.

After placing my order, the company called to confirm my order- I received the ipl device soon after. The plug always makes a spark when plugging it into the outlet. Then I plug it into the device, but it doesn't like to turn on. So I keep unplugging it from the device and plugging it back into the device because it seems to only turn on once in a while when the display is flashing right after plugging it in. I've only been using it for 3 weeks, 2-3 times each week. I have very fair skin and dark hair and have not noticed any reduction in hair or hair thickness yet on my chin, stomach, underarms, bikini, or legs. I was concerned that my very sensitive skin would get burned from this device- my skin does not even get red. My skin feels fine, but the device gets a bit warm. All the reviews I read before buying this device said to give it a month, so I'm still hopeful. I have stubborn hair from PCOS and my skin hates to be shaved. I do have one concern about the device- I set it at level 3, but during the treatments the device decides to increase and decrease the levels. I'm not pressing the level button, so why can't it stay on the level I set it at?

I purchased this item on October 31st. I did not begin using it until January. Here we are in March and, after using it twice a week, it has not done anything for my legs. Then I tried using it this morning (still hoping) and it would not turn on when I plugged it in. This is garbage. Usually, I read reviews before purchasing an item online. I guess I was so excited about the possibility of never shaving my legs again that I forgot to check. Had I checked the reviews I would have known better. I tried to email the company and the email would not go through. I called the toll-free customer service number, and was told to send an email to helloat5minskinipl.com.

I am having the same problem as everyone else, which is: Can not get in contact with this company. They provide a phone number but recording says "Your call can not be completed at this time, pleasetry again later". Nor was I able to send an email on their website link. It says there is something wrong with my connection, so it can't verify that I am human. I ordered the Photo Facial Lens to go with the 5minskin ipl, but there were no instructions on how to attach it to my device. The photo Facial lens has magnets, but the device does not. I believe I just got scammed. Don't trust a complany that has a phone number that doesn't work or an email link that doesn't work. This is shameful. UPDATE: I was finally able to contact the company through an email address that Trustpilot won't let me include in my update. Once I was able to get in touch with them, they moved very quickly to resolve my return and refund. The person I talked with was very caring and kept in touch with me until the refund was applied. The number and name of the gentleman that helped me was Jay at #323-283-8332. I think the biggest thing for customers is to be able to get in touch with this company. I hope they resolve the 888 telephone number problem and other email problems so customers don't think they are being scammed. As of this update, the 888 number still does not work. I am very grateful in how they handled my problem, and am very satisfied. This is why I changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars.

It requires you to basically shave the hair on your face and once you do that you are committed to growing back stubble if the device doesn’t work. Which is what happened to me. After months and months of using this at least once a week, the hair is still noticeable on my upper lip and the stubborn black hairs on my chin are also still there.

It lit up but never did anything else (over several weeks of trying to get it to work) such as skin tightening which it claimed to do. No directions. I would call it a scam. I sent it back insured for $12.45 postage. It arrived there on February 26, 2024. I haven’t received a refund yet. I understand they also charge a 10% restocking fee. So for $100 item I got nothing.

I got the unit in Nov '22 and used it for a while. I eventually let it sit because I didn't want to take the time to use it. I started using it weekly again in Jan '24. Today, Mar 1, '24. The unit does not work. The light comes on but that's all it does. This item ought to last through more than a few months of use. It did work to remove hair, it just didn't last.

First order didn't arrive, second replacement doesn't work!
