I needed to get a lens for wildlife photography for my Canon 2Ti. I found the lens I wanted (18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 STM) on 42nd Street Photo's Amazon store at a really good price. The lens arrived quickly by regular UPS, nicely packaged, and is indeed - like new.

I ordered an 18-55mm lens for a Sony a65 DSLR through 42nd Street Photo's Amazon store and it was almost 100 dollars cheaper than Sony's price! I got two day shipping and it arrived in perfect condition, in a plain white box hidden in loads of packing peanuts so that it wouldn't get damaged in transit. I started using the next day and it works great! I will definitely be ordering parts from 42nd Street Photo in the future! Thanks, guys!

So I bought a new Canon Rebel T5 so I could take family photos and whatever else my eye caught. However, it came with a 75-300mm Lens. Obviously, I needed something that could give me some closer/wider shots so I stared looking around for a 18-55mm lense. I searched around Amazon and did read some reviews and found one sold by 42nd Street Photo. Price seemed reasonable compared to other sellers so...I ordered it. Since it was on a Saturday, my order didn't get filled/shipped till Monday. Here it is Wednesday, and after an anticipated delivery date of Friday, my lense is here! Another completely satisfied customer! To sum it all up: Good Price, Pain Free Transaction, Super Fast Delivery, Exactly what I was looking for. When/If I need more photo stuff I'll definitely look for 42nd Street Photo before I check out other sellers.

I lost a rear lens cap on a recent trip. A replacement came quickly from 42nd Street Photo so I could return my wife's lens cloth which I had been using as a temporary cover. We are both happy.

This is the second time I have purchased multiple cameras from 42nd Street Photo. The first time they did not send the accessories to my two sons, just the cameras, this was at least 7 years ago. It was Christmas and I took into account the time of year. I have now purchased two more cameras one for my son and one for myself, both Lumix GX7 camera bodies only. I received a call from 42nd Street Photo confirming my order only to find out the camera comes with no factory warranty (buyers beware) and they wanted to know if we wanted to buy insurance. I should have cancelled my order but did not as this might have cost us a 20% restocking fee and the last order had no quality issues. The camera arrived yesterday and to my surprise was very poorly packaged in a small box with only paper packaging on two sides and the camera box itself unprotected on the bottom and one side. This is no way to ship expensive camera equipment and although they have been in business over 50 years their packing department shows they are still packing things the way they did over 50 years ago. Why would they not use bubble wrap or packing peanuts when shipping cameras? Does 42nd Street Photo think that somehow these boxes never get dropped or thrown around? Seriously bad thinking! The owner needs to go watch what happens at any sorting facility to see how packages are handled. I can only hope no damage has occurred to this new camera. If you have to charge more for better packaging just say so. Another $2.00 would offer a lot of protection and the cost is minimal. Not a bad place to do business but if factory warranty and correct packaging are important to you ask before buying or you may end up spending more on secondary warranty insurance or even worse trying to resolve damage during shipping.

Dear Henry, We have been in business for over 50 years and work with UPS as our trusted shipper. All cameras come with internal structure and support in their boxes, we add additional packaging around those boxes and ship them out to customers like you. While it is extremely rare , sometimes accidents do happen to packages and things end up broken. We appreciate your concern, however we have the utmost confidence with our shipping facilities and shipper that your products will arrive with no issues. We appreciate your repeat business and look forward to serving you again in the future for any of your photographic needs.

I've ordered some Canon G12 accessories for my camera via Amazon and the delivery was neat. The items came in very good packaging and on time. I would recomment 42nd Street Photo to anyone!

I ordered a Fuji X-T1 with the 18-55 kit lens from 42nd Street as I saw the price was $100.00 less than Amazon and B&H. I placed the order online on Wednesday and the next two days were a Jewish holiday. On Saturday Adam called me to review the order and to try to sell me a memory card. He revealed that 42nd St is not an authorized Fuji dealer, so Fuji would not honor its warranty. Since the camera was fairly expensive, he was able to sell me a warranty with CPS. That wiped out some of the savings, but since 42nd doesn't collect the sales tax where Amazon does, there was still a minor savings on the transaction. The shipping was free and the camera arrived on Monday, so almost overnight shipping. All in all, I was happy with the transaction, especially as B&H did not have the camera in stock.

They have everything you need for your photo needs. Equipment for the pro to a simple lens cover for my DSLR camera. Great transaction and quick shipping.
