The contacts are fine but the service 0/10 would not recommend. I received my “rebate” with a $0.00 balance, after my $600 purchase and they told me I have to fill out paperwork & get it motorized in order to receive it. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be returning.

I entered the wrong prescription for one of my eyes. They helped me get the correct prescription verified by my doctor, sent the new lenses over night, didn’t charge me, and took the old lenses back. Great service.

I order my contact back in October 2020. I never receive my rebates. I need to reorder my contacts and I realize I never receive my rebates. I called them to ask about it. They said it now expire. They can’t re issue my rebate. WTH. Never order from this company again they’re trying to steal from their customers

I second the review by Sally Gross. I got the same runaround on my requested price match this time that I never have before. They’ve always, ALWAYS price matched the best sale prices I found elsewhere, even if it included entering a coupon code. This time they wouldn’t. I was very disappointed and I even threatened to take my long-time business elsewhere (to the price match site). They didn’t care and I did, in fact, end up ordering from somewhere else for the first time ever. And it wasn’t just one customer but two that they’ve lost. I’ve been ordering both mine and my husband’s contacts with them exclusively for 15 years. Not anymore apparently. One other note. Why do they make us go through the price matching process anyway? Is it just to trick people who don’t know better about price matching into paying their ridiculously high price? The contacts I was buying were about $36/box on other sites, but 1800 contacts wanted to charge $70/box and would only “price match” down to $60/box. Why not just charge the same as everyone else was charging to start with? Why the hassle? And now it’s definitely no longer worth the time and effort. It’s too bad.

The worst place to ever order contacts years ago they were the best of the best but my last two experiences were horrific this time I got somebody on the phone and I said I’ll give them a chance they placed my order charge to me and then sent me a text saying they did the wrong order instead of -1.50 they did plus so I called right away to ask for the refund they refused to do it and they refused to send me the right lenses I had to call my bank to do a fraud alert to cancel my card in the event they kept trying to charge me again it was awful. If they made a mistake they should’ve sent me the right ones I won’t ever use them again I recommend lenscrafters

I recently re-ordered contacts for our busy College Seniors Twins. I had the good fortune of speaking with Kirtley. She was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Their contacts arrived within 24 hours!

I have been a long time customer of 1 800 contacts and overall have had a good experience. They have been reliable in shipping the contacts to me when Im in a pinch and needed them quickly and have corrected any issues with the contacts if there were any. In the past they have also been good at price matching from other websites. Recently, they have changed their policy on price matching. I have heard from representatives things like 'incognito, and cache and cookies, first time promo price, Google pricing, etc'. But the truth is they are no longer price matching a competitor's website sale price, they will match the original price on the competitors website. There is a bit of misinformation and runaround type explanation from the representatives now that I did not detect in the past. I looked up contacts on a non-Google site and put them in the cart and saw the price and 1 800 contacts would not match that price. They give an excuse and will price match to the non-sale price. But the sale price on the competitors website IS the actual price on that website. There is no internet fluke. They have been reliable in getting the contacts to me in the past so I have been a repeat customer. I also never noticed anything sketchy about my experience with them. This recent policy change on price matching is slightly sketchy and they are not being straightforward and upfront about it to their customers. Unfortunately, I am thinking about now trying another company for contacts. Update (6/2021): I called another contact lens company and got a quote for 3 boxes of the contacts I use. I specifically asked if the sale price was available to everyone or if it was just for first time buyers. I was told by the representative from this other company it is a sale price for everyone, while the sale is on. I then called 1-800 CONTACTS and the representative would not honor the sale price and said she 'did not see it'. I replied that the sale price is on their website and I spoke to a representative who confirmed this price. 1-800 CONTACTS would not truly match a better price on a competitors website. Overall, I have had a good experience with this company over the years and they've been reliable but they have undoubtedly changed their price matching policy and are NOT being upfront about it to their customers.

WORST experience ever. -10 NOT a 1 star. I wanted to get rid of my reading glasses so I was examined in January and received my prescription. I ordered contacts right away and received the WRONG strength. I called them and they put in a new order and sent me the same strength from the first order so again I received the WRONG strength. I called them and asked if they would finally sen me the correct strength but I needed them sent to my sons address since I was going to be out of town, they said absolutely. After seversl days I received confirmation that they sent them to my home - WRONG address. So I drove the 3 hours to my home to pick them up since I was not going to wait AGAIN. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN!!! I had 360 contacts sent to my home that were USELESS!
