I ordered items for Christmas presents in November. The items finally arrived in mid-December (three weeks later….maybe not so bad compared to other reviews I’ve read!). However, one of the items was COMPLETELY smashed soaking the entire package in Colonel Pabst Worcestershire sauce! Everything in the box was ruined! (Panettone box ripped and soaked, two sets of cloth napkins soaked, cloth bags of chocolates soaked……nothing was gift give-able!). After calling, my email addressing the situation was elevated and I received an email back (5 days before Christmas) that more than half of the items are out of stock! I will never order from Milk Street again and I won’t even subscribe to the magazine because customer service is soooo poor!!

I ordered the Nakiri knife and the Kitchin-kiji knife on December 6. After ordering and paying, the order confirmation email said the Nakiri knife would ship on December 15. In fact the order status page still says it will ship on December 15. I contacted their email-only customer service on December 16 asking when it would ship and did not receive a response. I sent a follow-up today, December 18, and still no response. The customer service is terrible, and it seems to coordinate with the shoddy business practice of advertising a sale on products you don't actually have in stock. I don't care how good the knife is or even if their customer service finally responds. It will be my last purchase from this company.

When I received this order the two bottles of Alphanso Mango Puree spilled out into the wrapping. I had to throw them away. I would like to receive a refund for these two items to my original payment method. Thank you.

Website design and customer communication is very unsophisticated and untrustworthy. I signed up for a limited-time promotional subscription with an auto-renewal feature (auto-renews are always a trap!). I decided the recipes were too fussy and went online to cancel the subscription and turn off auto-renewal feature. Subscriber Account Page poorly designed - has (1) no description of what level of subscription is active, (2) no start or end dates, (3) no display of what credit card in on file for auto-renew. There was NO CONFIRMATION back that the cancellation/removal of auto-renew changes were successful. When I logged in to my account 2 business days later, subscription was was still shown as "active". I had to telephone Customer Service (long hold waiting for someone to pick up the call but at least it was a human and not a robot). Service Rep said he entered the changes. However, I was told no email would be sent confirming account changes - company had no such practice. So I will have to log in again in a few days to be sure the cancellation/no auto-renew went through.

This dude is a TOTAL rip off. What an ass, charging for recipes you can get for free, elsewhere. I'd say, take him off TV. We don't need people like him.

Where do I start? Once you create an acct and buy something your forced to use a horrible app named Shop. It has never fully logged me in since. Only part of the site is now functional. Then there’s the shipping. I have placed two orders. Both times I get a notification that the shipping label has printed! Ten days later nothing. I contact customer support and they don’t know what happened and they finally ship the product. I pre-ordered two items that have a disclaimer that they will ship before December. It’s December 9th and tomorrow I will have to contact customer support. The products are just OK. A lot of plastic. Knife is sharp but it’s only been 2 weeks. Very disappointed. Shocked Kimball put his name to this Temu kitchen site. I will never buy from here again.
