The location on Angier Ave in Durham, NC no longer uses personalized gate codes. Instead uses a number to text that is posted on the gate. ANYONE who drives up has access to the facilities now. The units no longer have double protection with the door code and personal lock. All of our locks were cut off and replaced by one of theirs. "primary phone number" does not apply at this location. I had 2 other members of my household text the number posted on the gate and the gate opened. They are not listed on any unites within the 10 Federal system.

H Adam, Thank you for your review. Our locations offer both personalized codes and the ability to text to open. The text to open only works if texting from the primary phone number on the account. Only tenants who are paid current can use the text to open system from the primary number on the account. We've tested the system to verify everything is working properly and can confirm the feature will only work with the primary number tied to a non-delinquent account. Regarding the locks, we provide all tenants with a complimentary Davinci lock on move-in which tenants can choose to keep and use for their unit, or they may use their own purchased lock.
