POSSIBLE SCAM ALERT!
POSSIBLE SCAM ALERT! I found a rarely available domain, checked on multiple domain registrar sites, it was listed as available, so I bought it on 101domain.com. The next day, they asked for my ID, I sent it and got verified. Then at the end of the day, 24 hours after my purchase, I received an email saying my order has been cancelled because the domain has been bought by another party. It is not possible to be sure if they indeed scammed me, but I would suggest you to stay away just in case if you are planning to register a rarely available domain and instead find a more reliable domain registrar (I don't know which). Mine is not the first complaint for this type of situation. I have seen others complaining for the same reason too. I wish I had seen them before using their services. EDIT: @101domain I am not interested in your template response at all. I don't trust you, and I suggest others not to trust you either. Your template response proves my point: you say it doesn't happen often, but apparently it happens often enough for you to need to come up with a response template for this type of situation.

Hi Nycziecskoi, We sincerely apologize for getting your hopes up. Unfortunately, we will have to cancel and refund your order because it turns out the domain name is already registered to another party. We want to assure you that our service is not a scam and you will recieve a full refund. Not all registries operate the same and because of this, we are sometimes unable to connect to a registry properly. This can lead to incorrect search results, as you have experienced with your recent purchase. We understand your frustration in this matter, but we can assure you it does not happen often. We want to thank you for considering 101domain, and would love the opportunity to make it up to you moving forward. Best regards, 101domain
