I purchased a Uniden hp2 and am very pleased with the scanner, it was what they advertised .Had 1 issue and the tech support solved my problem right away, Thank you Luke@ zip scanners.

Ordered one scanner. They emailed me days later saying they couldn't fill that order. Ordered a different one that came with preprogrammed chip. However, the chip did not work. Great price on the second scanner. However, disappointed it took so long to tell me I couldn't get the original I wanted and the preprogramming didn't work.

Hi Shannon - sorry to heard about this. With the scanner you received, if the SD card was corrupted or not working we can send you another one today for free. The SD cards are sensitive and sometimes they get corrupted during shipment. We are working on new packaging for them which should alleviate this from ever happening again. Just got the Whistler 1095 out of the box. Will be a learning curve, but that's just fine! I know I will have questions for the folks at Zip Scanner & from what I hear they have the answers.

For a "newbie" to the field, the staff, especially "Luke", made the information gathering, ordering & setup of the Uniden 436HP Scanner very easy. Always available to answer questions and quickly resolve minor issues. I would highly suggest that you discuss your thoughts and needs with this firm before going elsewhere.
