I highly recommend Zip Scanners. I was not familiar with scanners and had many questions before purchasing the WS1095. Luke and I e:Mailed back and forth and he was absolutely great with helping me understand which scanner would best meet my needs. I had Zip Scanners program 4 counties -- I took the scanner out of the box -- attached antenna; plugged it in; turned on the power and immediately started hearing exactly what I explained to Luke I wanted to hear. Zip Scanners gets 5 Stars from me!

I love your decision tree! I don’t know that much about scanners and your simple DUH! approach was easy to follow! And your hit my questions right on the head with my understanding of technology. I do think I know a bit about technology……. My question is what I know applicable to scanners. I decided no! For two reasons: ---Price! Not that big of difference and I will get it up and running the first time. ---Additional helps! Yup, I break stuff trying to fix it. Then I get stuff even more broken by trying to figure it out and do more damage. Your service can help untangle that weave.

Obviously the scanner someone had returned before. Front bezel was scratched. Scanner shuts off when battery indicator is only @ 50%. Not a new unit.
Response from Hue LLCSep 27, 2015
Thanks for your feedback - we only sell new brand new scanners so I'm not sure how a scratch would have occurred. There is a very hard to see film on each scanner to protect that needs to be removed - maybe this is the scratch? We've heard this from several customers and maybe this will fix the issue. If the scanner is shutting off there is a 1 year warranty on the scanner which can be claimed via us or by registering your scanner through whistler here: https://www.whistlergroup.com/usa/customer/account/login/ Please reach out directly to our customer service team at [email protected] as we're here to help if these issues persist.
