My scanner came today. But some of the order didn't come. I call and was told another box was to come yet by Monday. I have no tracking number to check on the other box. Was so excited about getting the new scanner not too excited now. Will see what happen when other box comes. Maybe then I will chance my rating. I have my scanner up and running love it. Had someone that does scanners come over and did mine for me, He also like this scanner. Told me this was a very good one easy to do. They called me tonight and are sending me what was missing and apologize for the mix up. If you are looking for a good one this is the one to get. I look for weeks before buying not just the price but they are there to help you with problems and program help.

After reading some of the negative responses I have come to the conclusion that the majority of people who have complaints simply do not know ANYTHING about scanning or how a radio works. If you have to pay someone to program your scanner you must be pretty stupid and lazy. The built in whip that comes with your scanner is for MINIMAL reception. The whip works perfectly for local reception. If you want to listen to your local police/fire/rescue etc, thats all you need. Anything more you need an outside antenna with good coax. Stop blaming ZIP and the radio for your ignorance. STUDY how radio waves travel. Learn about antennas.....Go to Radio reference .com to find your frequencies! Stop being crybabies and LEARN how to operate AND program your radio! If you live in the middle of nowhere like Montana, then maybe you'll have reception problems! Maybe if you wimps spent a little time LEARNING about this stuff, the less grief you will have.It's not rocket science.

Was told to purchase whistler trx1 and I would get open sky support said it was loaded that maybe it shows on the list but after five days no transmissions and support says to do the same thing over and over. I will not do business here again. I never said it worked I said it never got the PSP

I absolutely love this TRX-1 scanner. I had to use a visa gift card and another CC for payment and they worked with me over the phone to do so. They were extremely helpful. I recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing a scanner.

No pressure sales, was given recommendations, after I made my choice the scanner was programed so all I had to do is turn it on. It was delivered ahead of schedule and I am totally satisfied.

My HomePatrol 1 scanner wasn't working anymore so I got in contact with Zip Scanners and chatted with a customer service representative online. I explained what I want and Jesse took time to answer my many questions and concerns about it. I ended up ordering one and had it programmed to my choice and liking. I highly recommend Zip Scanners to anyone who wants to listen and be able to scan local county agencies.

Very bad service. I requested to have my scanner returned, Zip Scanners would not give a return authorization number within the allotted time frame, requested five times. I also ordered a battery charger from Zip Scanners and the charger received was not the charger I ordered from Zip Scanners. Charger and Batteries came from Amazon? Products advertised was not the products I received.
