Zion HealthShareReviews of zionhealthshare.org

Zion Healthshare is amazing! I was really worried when I was diagnosed with cancer that it would crush me financially. True to their word, they stepped in and took care of almost all of the cost. At the very beginning, they even offered to take care of finding out what my bills were and paid them directly so I didn’t have to constantly submit bills o worry about getting reimbursed for every appointment, radiation treatment, surgery, etc. They treated me like I was family. It was very needed and much appreciated! I’ve never had such a good experience with an insurance company - and it costs a lot less money!

I can't begin to describe the amazing experience i've had with Zion HealthShare. I've been a member since 2022 and haven't had to use the service until the beginning of last year, and since then i've had to open three sharing request. The first time I used it was for a Maternity request. I opened a request on the member portal and they got back to me within a couple days to let me know they'd be sharing into my maternity expenses, from there it was a breeze. I submitted my bills, and they were quick to send me a credit card to pay for my bills. After I had my baby, when I arrived home there were flowers waiting on my door step. They were always to easy to contact and each person was truly kind. The next two requests were related to an injury my husband got, and my baby having an emergency room visit, though the process isn't complete everythings been going SO smoothly. I wish more people knew about this alternative and how much better it is then health insurance. Thank you Zion!!

Fast, reliable. Straight forward. Really great experience. I love the concept, and it works!

Jaycee, Has been My Processor Through 8 Claims and She Has Gone Above and Beyond to Advocate on my behalf. She is well organized and a pleasure to work with.

I have had Zion HealthShare since 2021. In that time, I have submitted multiple medical bills, both small and larger. It was easy to upload the needed documents and EVERY TIME they paid for my medical bills within 2 weeks. They are great to work with and I have been very happy with my experience. The ONLY thing I have to say about ANY health share is this: read the member guidelines, make sure you understand what a pre-existing condition is (and how a health share handles it).

I cannot express enough how much I enjoy every interaction with the agents at Zion HealthShare. Whether it's a processor for a request or just a member care agent, everyone is so kind and respectful. I appreciate how willing they are to stay on the phone and answer all of your questions thoroughly, even if you have a lot of them. As long as you understand the guidelines, you can use their service to your advantage. It's so nice that as long as you've met your portion of the expenses and the rest are covered costs, they will pay for everything else over your portion. They handle things much faster than even traditional insurance does without the hassle of trying to decipher an EOB. I highly recommend using them.

Zion is a great company who actually care about how their members are treated

I’ve been with Zion HealthShare for a while now, and overall, it’s been a really positive experience. One thing I especially appreciate is their emphasis on preventive care. They make it easy to take proactive steps for your health, and I’ve found that taking advantage of those services not only gives me peace of mind but also helps avoid bigger issues down the road. The preventive services are straightforward to access, and Zion HealthShare does a good job outlining what’s available and how to get reimbursed. Things like annual checkups, screening for a mammogram or colonoscopy, and well child visits are eligible under their preventive care, and they genuinely encourage members to use those services—which isn’t always the case with traditional health insurance. It’s clear that Zion is focused on long-term health, not just reacting to problems. I’d definitely recommend that new members take the time to read through what’s offered and make use of the preventive services early on. It’s a great way to stay ahead of your health and make the most of what Zion offers.
