Zager GuitarsReviews of zagerguitar.com

I have only one thing to say about Zager Guitars; they have the best Customer Service; I’ve ever experienced! Outstanding quality guitars made here; when you start to play one; you just can’t put it down! They are that good! With beautiful intonation and action! You need to own a Zager!

They ain’t lying. It IS easier to play. I am 76 and have played for most of my life, on and off, with Up with People and at church. For the last 30 years I have played my jumbo Carvin, loving the sound. But as time has passed arthritis and neuropathy make playing well very difficult. My fingers don’t go where they belong and clear chords are few. So I decided to try Zager, assuming all along it was just hype. But it isn’t: the little bit of extra space and the ease of chording has given me back a lot I lost. I am pleased to say their claims are valid. The only downside for me is a few chords I still can’t reach, but that is a minor inconvenience.

I’ve had my Guitar for a year and love it. So crisp and wonderful sounding and being a former bass player all my life, it helps with the fat fingers I have. My wife just ordered a 12 string for my birthday. Can’t wait.

I purchaced a guitar hole humidifier from Zagar guitars. I always knew the importance of maintaining the proper moisture in a guitar but never addressed it. The humidifier is a simple concept but works unbelievable! I saw a video where Dennis Zagar explains guitars with proper moisture should have belly below the bridge on the guitar's body ever so slight and easy to miss. My guitar did not have this slight belly at all. I would also like to say my guitar was built by Dennis Zagar. I immediately purchaced it. When it came I followed the instructions that came with it. I installed it on my guitar and to my amazement after some time went by I looked at my guitar and actually could see this belly Dennis talked about. Dennis mentioned in a video I saw that the lack of improper moisture pulls the belly flat. Not only did this belly reappear as Dennis said it would but my guitar...I beleive sounds better...to me. The one thing I found peculiar was having the device in my guitar for so long that when I take it off to play it a faint aroma of spruce pine comes out of the guitar hole. This Guitar is 12 years old and I'm not sure if Zagar ever heard of this happening before but I am serious! What a pleasant surprise! If you own a acoustic guitar I HIGHLY recommend this guitar humidifier. I also believe that the price is very fair for the real benefits it adds to your guitar. I call Dennis Zagar a guitar Scientist because of all the innovative ideas he has brought to life and offers through Zagar Guitars that have made Zagar Guitars probably...in my opinion the best guitars you can buy!! I have no affiliation with Zagar Guitar Co. in any way I am a 65 year old guy who lives outside of Boston and loves guitars...and also loves Zagar Guitars and Dennis Zagars"Guitar Science"! I purchased a ZAD900CE OM size one year ago. I have never owned a high end guitar and had to learn about keeping it playing right. The customer service at Zager was impeccable. They replied to all of my questions almost instantaneously. They walked me through adjusting the truss and rehydrating the guitar. It sounds better every day. The mids and highs sing on this guitar and the tone is beautiful. The intonation is great and it is easy to play and with 12 gauge strings it has a sound that is way bigger than expected. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend Zager!

Great guitar. It lives up to the EZ play claim. Plenty of room on the fretboard and very little pressure on the strings. What the website can't really capture in the rich tone. I would definitely recommend a Zager.

A good friend loaned me a very nice Veteran Martin while I awaited my guitar being built. When he came to get it he played my Zager. He said it was the best fretboard he ever played He couldn’t believe the action and reiterated the fact that this guitar definitely has the quality of high end Martins and Taylors To hear such great compliments from a Martin collector speaks volumes.

Great service. Called on a Saturday to inquire about a broken bridge. I spoke to someone right away and sent an email to get the replacement part. Very pleased and surprised I was able to talk to someone so quickly especially when many companies fail at this. Great guitar and great service.
