Yext screws over small businesses
Yext screws over small businesses. DO NOT get lured in to their schemes. Read the fine print - you can't just cancel, and they will try to hold you to the full year ahead fees if you do. I would like to use a lot more profanity, but I prefer that they show my post to help save someone else a headache or two. UPDATE: they responded in an oh-so-sweet manner. Do not fall for their tactics! They were demanding a full year payment for my failure to cancel my plan. Then they decided they wanted me to pay for at least 6 months. Then while they were waiting for me to make that payment they decided to cancel my service before I was even into the third month. I had not been logging in nor using this crap service, they sent me an email to state it was terminated. THEN CAME THE LEGAL NOTICES. Letters and phone calls start. I wanted to be done with all the nonsense so I offered a low-ball amount to settle. That's all they wanted - money for them doing nothing, and to offer nothing to the consumer for the payment. DO NOT WORK WITH YEXT. They are horrible.

Hi David, we're sorry to see you are no longer working with Yext. Your account was canceled last year. Partner agreements run for a duration of 12 months and are set to automatically renew at the end of each annual term to prevent any ongoing service disruptions. Per our renewal policy, Partner agreements may only be cancelled or modified with at least 30 days written notice prior to the upcoming renewal for the upcoming renewal. We understand this has been an ongoing frustration; we have worked with our billing team internally to resolve the issue. Thank you for your business. We wish you all the best moving forward.
