It was easy, took a little time, covers a bunch of stuff with one swoop instead of listing with one at a time

I tried to find my listing on different sites and what i found out is disturbing. When you search for painter the search brings up best match not closest by distance first. If i search for local painters with my zip code i show up on the first page, but if i search with no zip code, it brings up kittanning which is 3 miles from me and i am on the 27th page. Contractors from 50 miles away come up ahead of me. Ford city has a population of around 3000. So i am limited to a very small area. Not what i expected.

Yext is a very professional and committed company. They made sure that I had everything that I needed at my fingertips and empowered me to take charge of my future!

It is not as good as advertised. Many of the sites have limitations that no one explained. The dashboard is one dimensional. Everything you post there is not always populated on the sites. You have to review each site individually. But it did allow me to access all the sites to make much need corrections to errors made by my old SEO company.

Since I have started with yext and paid them there money I have not got one call from the ads. I told the sales person that I did not want to use an address because I was in the process of opening a store. However, he did not tell me that most of the search engines woukl not even advertise me without an address. Plus the only people that do call are other people trying to make me spend more money to advertise with them. They tell me that " your listing is free through yext and if you want to stand out and be at the top of the page you need to sign up for an ad". Also, The ads that I took the temporary ad off are still there. The salesperson told me "all I had to do was email them and it would be removed". I am very dissatisfied and very unhappy with the whole deal. I feel like I threw money out the window. I could have spent the $500.00 and got some real advertisement and made some money. This deal is a loser. That is my opinion and I feel like a fool. I ran around rounding up money on New Years Eve to send the salesman " so we close the deal" and I could get the discount. I don't think they have what you might need, your money is wasted if you sign up with them

I had been thinking of ways to improve my business and talked to some SEO poeple that had been bugging me via email. There was no way with as small as my business is that I could afford ANY of their rates so I stopped looking. Then I asked a friend how I could get better exposure and he told me YEXT..... I signed up that day an I have been thrilled!!!

I never got the email that allowed me to edit my listings, maybe lost in my email but the use of [email protected] should be used as the email I gave [email protected] is having problems. I did receive a call from my new manager but never got the email confirmation to respond or work with him. No fault just need to follow up since this is over month or more
