I really like Yamibuy, I have bought from them more than 10 times now, compared to other Asian food supply online sites, they seem to have more of varieties and website is very organized, easier to spot what I need to order. Also prices are better than others. However, I never was really satisfied with the courier company they use. They sometimes deliver at very late at night, one time after midnight that woke up everyone in the household. That was even okay before this time. I was waiting for my order to come and it showed on the tracking it has been delivered, so I went outside and looked everywhere. I could not find anything. Contacted the courier service and they say they did deliver at the correct location because the tracking history says so. I have to look harder and maybe ask around the neighbors. I did ask neighbors, but they have no clue. Contacted Yamibuy customer service. They said I should contact the courier, for which I told them I have already done. They replied that they contacted the courier to do more research. Nothing happened since then. I really wanted to keep liking Yamibuy. Hope they will change the courier company they use.

As of now, I don’t really have anything to say of the products themselves, as I have not received them at all. It’s almost five days from the expected delivery date and it still hasn’t been delivered. FedEx is known to be highly inefficient, especially in rural areas. I ordered tofu, which I’m sure has gone bad by now after being in a box for over a week. If Yami wants to offer their products to rural areas, they should choose a delivery service that can efficiently get their products to those areas. Edit : I got my products today, and I have raised the review as none of the products came damaged due to their good packing. I still think that they should offer more shipping options for rural areas - but I just give credit where credit is due!

Good company with great products.

These guys steal from their writers from poor backgrounds. Their editors are also racists. I have heard from friends who work with them on how they steal from poor writers....Don't try to apply or order with them

Ordered twice, worked fine. Then started asking picture of ID and credit card on the next order. (can be masked other than names and last four digits). Switched to paypal, still asking the same thing. This is a bad practice. Find a better way to do the fraud protection.

Shipping is expensive and slow.

I ordered from Yamibuy on February 5, it has been a month! has yet received anything or a refund. The processing time is painfully slow, not recommended! : ( Update, they issued a refund after a whole month, which brings it from 1 star to 3.
