I saw the price of a Zojiroshi rice cooker that was good and placed an order. I got an e-mail confirmation and a short while later another e-mail requesting that I send them a photograph of my credit card with an ID or Passport. I called to verify the order but the customer service person stated that I had to send them the picture so that their "system" can verify me as the actual cardholder. This does not seem right and poses serious security risks. I hope that this is not some scam. I canceled the order and notified my credit card company.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience. It does not scam and it just helps to stop fraud payment so we need to verify payment info. It also can help our customer's payment safety. If you feel uncomfortable to proved id or card photo we advice can switch PayPal to make payment. Maybe it is easier to go through our payment system.Thank you for your understanding. If you have any question please kindly let us know Thank you again.

I have received my order at the end of June, and some cannisters contains fluid leaked and soaked through my other items. I called, messaged AND email their Help center, and was asked to send pictures of the damaged item to them. So I did. In fact I emailed them TWICE with the pictures. Now it is the end of July, NO ONE had reached back to me. Not even a message saying they are processing it, or asking for more information. They just ignore it. I understand this is a difficult time, items/refund may not process as fast as before, and I get that. But a customer with damaged goods that have tried to reach you more than 4 times and you ignore them for almost a month??? That is unacceptable.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Usually, we reply to the email in 1-3 business days. If you contact us for more than 3 business days, we advise that you can call us or send an email to us again. We will follow up for you. Sometimes customers don't receive our reply may be because the email size too large or our reply email sent to your spam. May I have your order number, please? Then we can follow up to you . Thank you.

It`s a Chinese company that does not follow the U.S. customer service protocols. If you buy something, DO NOT EXPECT to be able to return it because they have an unreasonable return process (they reach back out to their suppliers to ask if they can give a refund and 9/10 times the suppliers refuse and YAMIBUY does not refund you). I do not recommend shopping on there. go somewhere else.

I used to like Yamibuy until I found that they sold me products without expiration dates. I contacted the customer service and in a non-apologetic tone they said they will ask the date for me but won’t make any change and they will keep allowing that merchant to sell foods like that. Wow.
Response from Yami 亚米Jun 24, 2020
We apologize for any inconvenience. Some items date are written on the outer packing. We have to check the date by the system. We also will feedback to the Manufacturer to request to write the date on every item. Thank you for contacting us.

This company will charge any credit card to make money without verification. Pro ably a scam for laundering Chinese money...

We apologize for any inconvenience. We have the payment system to check all the payments. But maybe some reason some fraud payment still can go through the payment verification system. If your card was a fraud charge please contact your bank to dispute the payment and we also hope you can contact Yamibuy to stop the process of the order. We against the behavior.Thank you for your feedback.

Credit Card Fraud! Beware! Fraudulent charge on my debit card. Have never even heard of this company until now, and certainly never made a $50.96 purchase.
