If you're ever offered Xfinity mobile, run and don't look back. I called Xfinity about a problem with my television and the rep offered me a $250.00 gift card, a free phone and unlimited talk, text and data if I switched my mobile service to Xfinity. I had a plan that was charging $55.00 a month for unlimited. I never got the gift card, the phone did not work more than half of the time and my first monthly bill was $258.00 for just data plus the price of the phone. When I asked why my bill was so high, I was told that I was enrolled in a 1 gig plan and I had gone over my data usage. When I went to a store to complain, I was called a liar by the manager who said I knew that I was in a 1 gig plan and that I knew the phone was not free and that I just didn't want to pay. He did not put any blame on the rep who told me one thing and then put me in something else. Why would I leave an unlimited plan for a 1 gig plan? They locked my phone number that I had for 10 years and wouldn't release it so that I could go back to my old service until I paid the bill and paid for the phone that I could only use about 40% of the time. Even after I paid, they made me come back to the store 5 times which by the way was a 30 mile round trip each time before they would give me the right code to unlock my number. I would not recommend Xfinity mobile to an enemy if I have one. By the way, I tried to get them to exchange the bad phone from day one. They kept putting me off for two weeks by telling me it was the manufacturer's responsibility to replace the phone and the manufacturer kept telling me it was Xfinity's responsibility. After 2 weeks I was told that they had no records of my complaints and I was stuck with the phone once I had it for 2 weeks. They just took me for 100s and 100s of dollars for one month and a half of lousy service for April and half of May 2023.

I had to spend a considerable amount of…
I had to spend a considerable amount of time on the phone trying to cancel my mobile service due to my dissatisfaction with the overall service, particularly the customer service. However, even after canceling, I was still being charged months later for a service I was not receiving. To make it worse, I recently found out that I was sent to collections because of this issue.

Xfinty Mobile Price Gouge
Xfinty: we had for a long time, it was all that was offered in our area. Internet service was always going down or cutting off, but okay. We had no contract and every year we had to haggle the price with them. Our service started out at $35 then they would raise it to $110 at the end of the year, then we haggled with them, paid $55, $65 and lastly $75. We had Xfinity for years then we heard they had cellular plans. We had Verizon for years with no issue. When we signed up for Xfinity Mobile, they were using Verizon and our bill went from $150 to $94 for three lines. THEN WE MOVED. We had to switch internet providers since Xfinity was not offered in our new home. Our Xfinity cell bill went from $94 to $181 overnight! Cancelled Xfinity Mobile, they offered no better price and no incentives to keep us.

Deceptive business practice and worse customer service ever!
I called customer service at least 40 times. I have also been chatting with Xfinity Mobile customer service is never helpful. Each time I call, I get conflicting stories.
1). I was told I would get a free phone if I signed up for unlimited cell phone service with Xfinity Mobile. The other person said no. I decided to cancel my order and services on May 8, 2023, since they were telling me two different stories. I told them not to send me a new phone and to cancel my order the same day. They decided to send me two of the same phones. They charged me $66.99 and $42.00 in my bank account, and they were preparing to charge me around $25.00 for each phone.
2). When I called customer service to get the two labels to return two phones, he disconnected my cell phone service on my iPhone and transferred my number to the new phone that I asked to cancel. This was on May 11, 2023.
That night I chatted with Xfinity Mobile Service, trying to cancel the service on the phone I was returning and get labels to return the phone. I got disconnected twice. The last person trying to sell me a new service. I did not get the labels or cancel my service.
The next day, I called Xfinity Mobile one more time to cancel my service with Xfinity. I no longer wanted mobile service with Xfinity, ever!
I have FexEx receipts that say two cell phones have been delivered to Xfinity Mobile. I also got an email confirmation from Xfinity Mobile saying that they received the cell phones in new condition. I never open the boxes that the phone came in.
Now I got an email on May 22, 2023, from Xfinity saying that I did not return the phones. I won't be getting the refund.

May 24, 2023 UPDATE
I received a call from Mr. Dave K, Xfinity Mobile executive Resolution. He was kind, helpful, and understanding. I appreciate his assistance.
Mr. Dave spent a day giving me the credit of $550.01 for the cell phone I repeatedly asked Xfinity Mobile customer service not to send. He also sent refunds to my bank account. He says it takes 7 to 10 days to deposit a refund into my bank account. He did all this on May 23, 2023.
I feel my frustration should not have reached Mr. Dave.
On May 8, 2023, I called Xfinity Mobile customer service twelve times to tell them not to ship the phone and to cancel everything. In addition, I even used the Xfinity chat service. My Xfinity Mobile account showed Xfinity Mobile did not ship the phone yet. The next thing I know, they shipped me two identical phones.
Each time I called Xfinity Mobile customer service, I had to spend at least 10 minutes with the automated robot. Most times it hangs up on me so I have to call back.
I spent all day trying to get Xfinity Mobile customer service not to ship the phone out and cancel my order.
On May 10, 2023, I spend 16 minutes with Xfinity Mobile customer service to see if they canceled my order and to confirm they did not ship the phone.
On May 11, 2023, I called Xfinity Mobile customer service to get the labels so that I can return two phones. Getting labels from them was nearly impossible too because someone decided to activate one of the cell phones I am shipping back. I spent all day on this too.
The next day, I shipped two phones via FedEx.
I was exhausted by the frustration I endured. Naturally, I am afraid of something going to go wrong with my account even though Mr. Dave assured me that my account is cleared and I will get my refund.
Mr. Dave said I can contact him if I ran into any other issues. I do believe him, but I can not rest until my refund is successfully deposited into my bank account, as well as my Xfinity Mobile account is 100% cleared.
As of today, May 25, 2023, my Xfinity Mobile account shows that there is one payment of $550.01 remaining even though Mr. Dave gave the credit for that amount.
I will update you when everything is clear.

The out of country service is a joke
The out of country service is a joke. The first day I was in Iceland I had to call to activate my travel pass at least 6 times. No one knew what they were doing to get it activated. Finally, it start working, of course it ran out within hours. I’m not someone who uses my phone obsessively, I never would run out of data with my service with Verizon while traveling. After the travel pass said I had no more data, my GPS wouldn’t even work on my phone while I was driving. I was in the middle of nowhere and had no choice but to call and tell them I needed my data back installed now I have over $200 in fees for six hours of GPS use. The 2g nonsense wouldn’t even let my gps work in my car. I just switched over to Comcast from Verizon. I would now rather pay more monthly, to have better service out of the country. The service is equally as bad as their internet home service. Do not fall for it.

DECEPTION: PROMOTION NOT HONORED
I am stuck with an over priced Google Pixel 6a. I was offered a promotion where this company should have provided me with a monthly credit of $18 to apply towards the cell phone. I would only be responsible for the .74 per month. I have attempted to resolve this issue immediately once I was incorrectly billed. After numerous calls and having my case escalated to another department, I was informed today by the Advance Support Department there was nothing that could be done regarding the misinformation of the representative that had deceived me into signing up for services with XfinityMobile. *noteworthy, the representative failed to inform me that I needed to port over a phone number in order to get the promotion. To me this was a deceptive practice. I specifically had informed her that I did not have a device or a phone to turn in or port over. I specifically was looking for a promotion that offered a free phone. FELLOW CONSUMERS: there are better deals out here check with their competition (verizon, best buy, Google Fi, ATT, etc).

IAM SO SICK OF XFINITY. There is another outage today. of course the robot app said it was my equipment till I did everything recommended and finally got a "there is a technician working in your area today" message. I cant work with these kinds of interuptions. For the prices I pay, for speeds I dont actually get, I am fed up. Looking at home wireless options right now.
