We just contacted Uber customer support regarding this issue on your behalf, it looks like you were able to successfully redeem the Uber gift cards you purchased onto your Uber account as the balance on the gift cards is now $0.00, but had issues using Uber Cash as a payment method for unrelated reasons. Each gift card brand has their own set of terms and restrictions for their gift cards, and Uber's can be found here: https://www.uber.com/legal/en/document/?country=united-states&lang=en&name=uber-gift-cards-terms-of-use. For instance, Uber requires that you "add a secondary payment method to use Uber Cash", and "may not be redeemed outside of the United States". If you need any additional help with this, you should contact Uber's customer support line. Unfortunately, this is outside the scope of what we can control as a gift card marketplace.
