X8drumsReviews of x8drums.com

I narrowed my search down to three djembe drums using the website. Then I called customer service to get more details. The rep knew the three models very well and explained the differences and it became very clear which one I wanted. I chose the Ruby Pro medium. I got it in a week using their free shipping option. I'm amazed at how beautiful it is. It's seems crazy that the price was so reasonable given that it's a solid piece of mahogany. It's got a great sound when I pound on it. Now I just need to learn how to play it.

Needed a foot for my Gon Bops Cajon. A $3 part and they found it, called me back and it's on the way. THANK YOU

I think the merchandise that X8 has is superior to the other sites. They also have a huge array of accessories in addition to a great selection of all types of drums. You could find everything you need for your drum needs at X8 and their customer service people would be most helpful.

I recently bought a beginner Djembe package from X8Drums because I wanted to join a drum circle that meets in a local park in my neighborhood. It seemed like a good way to meet new people and share the experience of creating music. The package included a beautiful Djembe, maracas, and a wonderful DVD lesson by Kenya Solomon Masala. As an instructor, he rocked! I was able to start playing some rhythms on the drum before I attended my first drum circle session (so I didn't look like a "newbie"). I had a ton of fun and met some great people. I have recommended X8Drums to my new friends because the website is very easy to navigate and they have every possible percussion instrument there is at extremely fair prices. When I get really good at drumming, I'll go back to X8 for a more advanced Djembe. The choices are endless.

I'm a repeat customer and was surprised to see how much changed with the site design. It is so much easier to see the selection of world instruments. I had an online chat with Art who answered my questions quickly. I have recommended this site to others in my music group.
