This is by far the worst company I have dealt with. They wouldn’t address my concern, escalate to a supervisor, and they rejected my negative review on their website.
They have $100 worth of my cameras that I ordered almost a month ago. Support said 2-4 more weeks this last time. My order was supposed to be escalated per the first rep, but turns out that doesn’t happen there is no escalation. They just say stuff to make you feel good. Then won’t answer questions when you call them on it. I asked multiple times to specifically get a supervisor and they ignored it.
Bottom line I can not recommend this company anymore I have over 10 of their products which are decent but after how I was treated I can not in good faith direct people to their products anymore.

Pro model, they make you buy a subscription!
Terrible support.
Now with the pro model they make you buy their software subscription. If you don't it will not record to the chip.

Don't waste your money
I have 2 other wyze cameras older they work just fine. I wanted a camera for the outside so last month I purchased one amd couldn't get it to connect call support and they said it was defective. Gave them everything they needed took pics of everything emailed them everything that way they can replace it. Haha yeah no they emailed me a $20 gift card to go towards another camera. The camera I bought was alot more them $20. Against my better judgment I bought another one this time through there website. This was yesterday and today it was delivered and yet again I had to call and go through this all over again. Guess what? Yup this was also defective. The representative thought I was lying that I bought it from them. Though I sent proof of my bank statement amd confirmation email. Calling BBB Monday. Don't waste your money on these junk cameras.

Pretty bad
I've had the full Wyze monitoring system (hub, sensors, cameras, etc.) for over a year, and it's been a very frustrating experience. TL;DR: go with another service. This one is pretty poor.
Let me itemize the good and the bad.
Good:
- It's cheap. Both the gizmos and the annual fee for the monitoring service
- When it works, it works just fine. A sensor is triggered, the alarm goes off, you get a call from the monitoring company to check in on you. Pretty standard
- The cameras also work alright. They're far from great but they do the job
Bad:
- The monitoring hub goes offline regularly, which is a terrible thing for an alarm system
- There are regular downtimes in the service. Also a terrible thing for an alarm system
- The loudness of the alarm is laughably low. This pretty much renders the whole system pointless. If someone breaks in, the alarm is supposed to wake everyone up (if it's at night) and scare away the intruders. We have literally slept through the alarm two doors away. There is no way to increase the decibels or to connect a Bluetooth speaker to get more meaningful output. It's dumbfounding
- The monitoring hub glitches out from time to time, forcing you to factory-reset the device and manually reconnect every single sensor in the house back to the hub. I've had to do this 3-4 times in a year and it's really frustrating
- The rules in the app have been awfully buggy since day 1. For instance, a rule can be something like: don't trigger the motion sensor in the family room from 5am to 10pm. Broken and consistently unreliable
- Customer services is a crapshoot. People are friendly alright, but they've been positively useless every time I needed to talk to them
- The monitoring service from the Noonlight is kind of stupid. If the alarm goes off in the middle of the night, they call you and ask you if everything is OK. If you say yes, they wish you a good night and move on. The problem is that they're supposed to ask you for a safe word, in case someone is forcing you to say that everything is OK when it's not, but they just don't ask you for the safe word. That damn safe word was one of the reasons why I chose Wyze over other companies...
The problem with Wyze is that it's not a security or camera company. It's a "whatever tech" company, meaning that they make vacuum cleaners, ear buds, security systems, light bulbs, watches, toys, etc. They're so aggressively diversified that they're understandably not focused on developing a top-notch security system.
I regret this purchase and I do intend to upgrade to a more legit service, like SimpliSafe or Ring.

Wyze doesn't honor their 6 months free…
Wyze doesn't honor their 6 months free service with purchase agreement, then tries to rip you off with extra charges.. charged me 2.05 for a check up today even though my service is supposedly still free another month.

I am a disabled Retired Infantryman…
I am a disabled Retired Infantryman that gave my blood sweat and tears for this country. I have lost my phone and got a new number and you are telling me all you can do is give me a 25 dollar gift certificate. I just want to protect my house and things in and out my house and you are telling me because you don't have the capability to help me that I have to pay more money to get the cameras and base station again!!!! That is why they have a 1.8 customer rating and ranked 44 in video surveillance. People please read and do not waste your money.

good idea, terrible products and service
I liked the idea of wyze cameras when they came out and bought a few. The problem is that they work sometimes, but are always offline whenever we need them to work. And when they go offline, you need to "power cycle" to reestablish connection -- not easy when you are trying to monitor your home while you're away.
I bought their robot vacuum when it first came out. It worked ok, not great, for almost two years. Then one day after cleaning a room, it turned off and refused to charge again. I followed the troubleshooting guidelines for the Stupid Consumer (is the charger plugged in? Are the electrodes touching?) with no luck, went through an exasperating customer service chat that basically went through the Stupid Consumer checklist, then was told my vacuum was out of warranty and they could give me a $20 coupon. No thanks, never want to touch any wyze products again. They can't even offer to sell a replacement battery? The worst.

Where do I begin? Just plain horrible.
Wyze is just awful in every way possible. Most important to me is that they are so easily hackable. Do you really want to expose your family to all the sickos out there? They also have terrible quality cameras that do not perform as promised and are constantly going offline for no good reason. So you have to "recycle" at least one camera every couple of days when it goes offline, which is a major pain, only for it to happen all over again a couple of days later. One of my cameras is more often offline than online, and now they want to charge me for a subscription on that one.
Speaking of which, their subscriptions are a joke! I get nothing different whether I pay $39.99 a year for two cameras or not. And their agent treated me like I was lying, requiring that I send her a screenshot of my payment. I'm currently waiting for a refund from Google because Wyze said they "don't have the tools" to give me a refund - paid on their app - for their product - via Google Pay, which was an OPTION GIVEN BY THEIR APP. Just more wasted time that I should be working instead of dealing with this joke of a company's mess.
Then they have THE WORST customer service on the planet. I mean, THE WORST. Based in the Philippines, and having issues with both understanding and speaking English, they absolutely refuse to transfer you to a supervisor when they don't know what they're doing. You will waste an hour-plus on the phone with them, and 90% of the time, they will either be fake apologizing or putting you on hold. That is all they know how to do. They are totally useless.
I am done with Wyze. If its management is too cheap to make good products and too cheap to provide good support for those horrible products, then I'm done. There are way too many better options out there (Eufy, here I come!). I'm sorry I invested in 5 Wyze cameras and 2 subscriptions - all for nothing. But if this will help one person stay away from them, then my job is done. Wyze got greedy - too many low quality products with no support all at the same time. They need to have more respect for their customers. Since they don't, a lot of people are turning their backs on them, and they deserve it. Thanks for nothing, Dave! Enjoy your millions on the backs of hard-working ex-customers!
