I was a massive advocate of Wyze when they first launched. I loved their original camera. I eventually bought more cameras, the doorbell camera, the smart lock deadbolt and the spotlight camera. Unfortunately, both the smart lock and Spotlight cam have had issues since day 1. The Spotlight camera was the worst, not working right out of the box. The big problem with this lack of quality is it was hardwired by an electrician. So to troubleshoot it meant I needed to have the electrician come back. I eventually had the camera swapped out but now the continuous recording doesn't work and I can never view the playback. Overall I've learned Wyze's low price points were a bit too good to be true, unfortunately. I've stopped recommending them.

I paid for a full year subscription, but it didn't do ANYTHING at all. I couldn't view my cams online. I couldn't record "on the cloud". Customer service won't reply to me. The official doorbell product isn't supported by their app. So ridiculous! And you don't know any of this until after you buy the subscription. Complete ripoff.

This company is crooked. They do NOT care about customer service. I have cameras that do not work properly and under warranty. They will replace the $30 camera if I pay $15 for shipping and tax. Seriously! They should just replace that camera. Countless calls and they won’t even refund me the Plus subscription I paid for for a year. The camera is worthless and I’m paying for a subscription WHEN THE CAMERA DOESNT WORK PROPERLY ! Stay away fro this crooked company.

I have an outdoor camera with a solar panel. A squirrel chewed the cable. Contacted Wyze for a replacement. Was told they do not offer a replacement, but to check with outside vendors. I did and could not find one anywhere. Also have 2 cameras that quit working and one that got fuzzy. The spot light feature quit as well. Resonse time to connect with the cameras is slow

bought brand new wyze pan cam, installed it on the app. It worked great, until it said i needed to update it for it to work properly. Proceeded to update the cam. Update failed half way through and bricked the cam. Looking further into this, seems like there are hundreds of people who had the same s.h.i.t happen to them. for the last several years. Wyze refuses to do anything about it. Said i need to prove i bought it from an authorized dealer. Sooooo, the software you said i needed broke my $50 cam and i have to prove to u that i bought it from a dealer. W.T.F! They didnt break it, i didnt break it, your update did. Now i know why walmart doesnt carry this crap anymoore.

Cams cut in and out. Just when you need them - nothing. (and, no, Wyze, it’s not the WiFi signal) Customer service SUCKS. No phone solutions, and the first 3 or 4 email exchanges are stupid “form letter suggestions” long-time Wyze users have already tried by then. I’ve been with them from the beginning and couldn’t be more disappointed in what the company has become.

Absolutely the worst experience!! Do not buy this garbage camera. The app exposed you to Chinese websites and it tricks you into giving your data. They have no phone number that reaches a person. It will infuriate you when trying to get it to work. It is a scam!!!!! Run!!

Like the cameras but the customer service is horrible!! They do not understand customer service is what makes the company and eventually customers will leave. The website is not user friendly either.
