The customer support at this place is horrendous. I called in because I can't get logged into my account. Explained that I was not receiving the emails. The only solution they could offer was to transfer the ticket to the service team who would be contacting me via email very email that I cannot receive anything from them in for some reason. I am receiving emails from all kinds of other sources. I've been having a problem ever since they upgraded their app and no one there is willing or able I'm going to say mostly able to help. I would not recommend their product again it might be reasonably priced but when you need help you need help.

We have had the Wyze battery powered outdoor cameras for years and they have been nothing but trouble. Frequently you can't live stream them and I have had to reinstall the software for the countless times. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Also, if you don't pay for the subscription things are even worse and they barely work at all. Steer clear of this company all together I'm sorry to say.

Wyze failed to disclose a material fact - if a homeowner wants an audible alarm to alert them at night when sleeping or when home alone, Wyze requires that you pay a monthly fee for one of their plans - self-monitoring blocks an audible alarm. The restriction on having an audible alarm is a material fact and should be disclosed. I purchased the Wyze system to save money and I accomplished that goal, however, I did so at the expense of my personal safety and security. I had a well-known security system prior to moving that permitted self-monitoring WITH an audible alarm. A 40-minute phone discussion with a Wyze representative did not resolve this issue.

Product is ok but subscription service is unethically tricky. They don't give you any warning before renewal, whatsoever. Furthermore, you can check and there is no active subscription 1 place, but then later find out that you have an active subscription another place! There are 3 seperate places they do subscriptions!

One of the major problems with these juveniles is that they do not support what they sell. Need a part for your Wyze robot vac? Tough! Need to rollback a camera update because it bricked your cameras? Tough. If you ever anticipate needing customer support , parts or warranty work, pick a different company. Not only do they not support their products, but don't seem to care and have no intention of doing so in the future. Fortunately, many of their products are copies of someone else's item and so if you can figure out who they counterfeited, you can generally find a compatible part.

While I personally have had good experiences with customer service and they are very helpful and friendly, it would be nice if I didn't have to contact them all the time. It is also nice that you can actually talk to a person (unlike other camera companies where customer support is almost nonexistent or it takes forever to get through to them). The cameras, however, are garbage. Just outside of the the return period two of the cameras went offline and wouldn't come back. One of them makes a loud crackling sound when you plug it in to recharge it. Not very reassuring and kinda scary. Seems to be an issue with water getting inside of them. Owing to the possibility that I may not have connected them securely I ordered new Outdoor Cameras but they keep sending me the Outdoor Camera Bundle at a higher price with a base station I do not need. At first they convinced me I clicked the wrong choice but since I have to keep ordering more of them it is definitely an issue on their end as they keep sending me the wrong package. A third one of these cameras goes offline about once a week and I have to take it down to reboot it. This is not something you should have to do every week with a new system and it is quite frustrating. The picture quality is mediocre at best but I do appreciate color night vision. Forget about seeing any detail for identifying people or license plates. These things have potential to be so much better but until they fix some significant issues I would choose a different system (definitely NOT Arlo. I replaced that horrible system with this one).

I was an early adopter and promoter of Wyze for many many years. But the reliability, ease of use, and support has bottomed out. In the first place their Support / Customer /Service is not user friendly ! I will be looking at other cameras. Every single function on any of my 8 cameras produces constant Pop-ups to purchase monthly this or that. Wyze - what happened ???? Too bad, because I was a believer in the early years.

Frustrated. English is not the native language of the customer service rep. so I struggled with the accent a bit. I called during Washington State business hours, so I don't know if their call center is local or overseas. Even though the cust. rep. spoke pretty good English, the deficit was that she gave replies that seemed like robotic, canned answers that were elementary -- I didn't feel like it was a real conversation where she was fully comprehending or that my concerns were being understood. I have a number of cameras and have had different plans over the years. It was frustrating to discuss them with her. Adding to the confusion is that Wyze customers can manage some cameras and plans from the mobile app and other cameras and plans from the website. You can't see them in one place. (I think it depends on which platform you registered the device.) I only have one registered name, email address, phone number and password with Wyze, so why not join the info from the app and the website together somewhere? It's confusing. Finished the call never feeling real satisfaction. I like the Wyze cameras' performance for the price, however.
