Whenever you call Wyndham Rewards points department, they try and encourage you to talk to the Wyndham Vacation / Travel dept in the lure of earning 500 free points "just for talking to them". I fell for that once and never got my bonus 500 pts. Called them again several months later and they tried to rinse and repeat same tactic saying "Lets talk again and we promise you this time we will give you the 500 points". 100% SCAM so pls

Club Wyndham is a den of thieves
Club Wyndham is a den of thieves. They do not provide truthful information and are only interested in making a timeshare sale, ie., making money. Only upon close reading and inspection of the sales documents, did we realize that a credit account had been opened in my name, that I had purchased 84,000 timeshare points, and that the maintenance fees were excessive. They are scammers, liars, and should have any real estate/sales licenses revoked. If it were possible to give them a negative rating, I would.

Timeshare Nightmare & Deceptive Sales Practices
We have had it with Worldmark by Wyndham! We expect to be released from our fraudulently obtained contract NOW! To date, we have corresponded with them at least a dozen times. We have presented them with the deceptive sales practices and the completely fraudulent actions of the Las Vegas Sales Team. We requested the cancellation of our contract in writing and all they have done is use stall tactics, claiming they are investigating the situation. We’ve had to open disputes with the credit bureaus because TWO different credit cards were opened without our knowledge. One was with Barclay’s which they used to secure monies to “close the deal”. In fact, Barclays sent us a letter stating they conducted an investigation and told us we were not responsible for the fraudulent activity and closed the account. However, a few weeks later, they sent us another letter claiming that Worldmark has provided them with proof it was not a fraudulent transaction and we owe the money. We now believe that Barclays is in collusion with Worldmark. They are actively trying to get us on the phone to talk. Forget it! We already fell for this once. They are masters of manipulation and lies are clearly common business practices.
Over the course of the five plus hour presentation, we were told by the 4-5 salespeople (among other lies) that we could exit the timeshare contract at any time. Yet, that is not in the contract. What we did discover in the contract was a 5-calendar day rescission period as outlined by Nevada Law. The "real estate agent" in charge of reviewing the contract, to “protect us”, did NOT point this out and turned out to be Worldmark management. She took 15 minutes to go over a 51-page contract. This has been a nightmare based on the lack of urgency, empathy, or follow-up from Worldmark. As if your current count of 1,163 complaints over the last 3 years and the 1-star average rating is a testament to your lack of integrity. Step up to the plate and CANCEL OUR CONTRACT!

Terrible experience at their location…
Terrible experience at their location in Daytona Beach. They overbooked the ocean view rooms and put us in a room we did not book and pay for. Will never consider this location or any other associated with this company.

Wyndham is a bad deal
Wyndham has made their product and its benefits seem like something it’s not, so now we are stuck with this purchase that is emotionally and financially draining. I was not prepared to be in financial hardship right now, but I have been laid off work, my wife is ill, and her medical bills are piling up. If Wyndham had told me the truth about their timeshares, I would probably not be in this financial position. They failed to disclose many of the fees we would be charged, especially the total finance charge, which is an additional $63,000 on top of the agreed upon sale price of $76,000. Do not let their lies get to you.
If I buy a house with a mortgage, and realize I can no longer afford it, I can exit from the deal by selling the house and paying off the mortgage from the sales proceeds. This is because a house is real property with value. There is no such way to exit a Wyndham timeshare because it has no value as property, it is like buying a "virtual" house that exists only on paper.

Solo Female Travelers Beware Predator Salesmen
The salesmen who sell these timeshares are predators. I was mislead. Once I was able to read the contract on my own, I found it did not align with what the 3 Salesmen said. Luckily I read my contract while still on vacation because there was a sentence that said I only had 5 calendar days to cancel. I sent in my cancellation letter 3 calendar days later. It was received on 4th calendar day. I see the down payment was placed on a credit card they opened with 99% utilization causing my credit core to drop 18 points and take me from “Good” to “Fair”. I am devastated. I was in the process of buying a home. Now I will pause until this matter is resolved and that account is closed and the contract is cancelled/revoked. They’ve negatively impacted my future. I now need to rebuild my credit score.

Wow!! I cannot believe the blatant "dont care" attitude this company has
Wow!!! Very dissatisfied with my decision to get a rewards card from them. I have attempted to get access to my rewards account that apparently was set up or located during the issuance of the credit card but I was not provided any login information and after calling them 3 times at 844-405-4141 to gain access to my account I have been put into an IVR loop that goes to dead extensions, have been hung up on and then refused to assist me because I cannot understand them with all the chickens crowing in the background whereever they are. Needless to say, I wont be using the rewards program with them.

Cancel IMMEDIATELY after signing.
If I could give the "Wyndam Experience" a ZERO .. I would. Wasn't told we could cancel .. too late after 4 days in Nevada. Check your state for Legal Cancelation!!!! After much time wasted .. 2018 Wife and I signed for a "Discovery Package" in Vegas. Lies and more lies. Wyndham theives additionally signed my wife up for a $4,000 credit account after we signed .. besides mine.. illegal !! Customer service hung up on me multiple times !!!.. yeah this was the beginning of PTSD from these useless scum. Had to use our 400,000 points in 2 yrs. Then Covid .. !! Yes it can only get worse from here. Imagine trying to juggle work schedule.. what city is open? .. flights canceled!! .. then Wyndham says .. well .. you've had 2 yrs to use your points.. Even though our 2020 vacation was CANCELED BY WYNDHAM due to covid B.S. .. too bad they say.
Long miserable story short. We had to scratch, claw, etc.. to find a place to use our points after our contract was expired. We know how to fight. It was not worth the stress!!! Best Advice .. NEVER SIGN THE CONTRACT .. Period !! Cheers :)
