If the item being searched is deemed a collectible or antique by a popular search engine, that search engine’s algorithm will display WorthPoint as one the most popular resources of information on that item. You can certainly try our free trial offer if you are interested in seeing the value of an item. WorthPoint’s website offers a free trial of 7 price lookups within 7 days (whichever comes first) to research your item. In order to initiate a search, you would need to register for an account. WorthPoint does not charge any subscription fees upfront for the free trial offer. Hello Mr. Rob, Thank you for contacting WorthPoint. We apologize for any confusion that took place while trying to register for our free trial offer. Like most subscription-based companies, WorthPoint requires payment information by credit card, debit card, or PayPal during the registration process. However, the method of payment is not charged upfront. If a customer cancels their account before the end of the free trial of 7 price lookups within 7 days (whichever comes first) period without going beyond the parameters of the trial offer, no charges are incurred. WorthPoint emails all customers a “Welcome To WorthPoint” email outlining the parameters of the free trial of 7 price lookups within 7 days, cancellation options, contact information, cost and date of the subscription fee charge. Our website also displays the outlines of the free trial and services provided in the terms and conditions that are selected each time throughout the registration process of creating an account. Hi Vance, Thank you for contacting WorthPoint. We apologize for any confusion during the registration process of our website. When a customer creates an account and partially registers, but later tries to complete the registration, it will display the “Pay Now” button. By selecting the “Pay Now” button, it does not mean that you are being charged a full subscription right away, the system applies a $1 authorization hold on the account and moves the customer forward to finalize their registration to utilize their free trial. Once a customer completes the free trial offer without exceeding the limitations of the 7 price lookups within 7 days (whichever comes first) and cancels the account, the $1 authorization hold will be applied back to the customer’s account. The only customers that are charged a full subscription (monthly or annual) immediately are returning customers that have already used their free trial offer in the past. We are actively working to change the wording in that section of the system to prevent any confusion with future first-time customers. Hi Mr. Twombly. We do not sell items on WorthPoint.com, we offer historical information and sold-for prices for antiques and collectibles through a subscription-based model. Depending on what search tool you’re using, you should be able to adjust your settings for the content they filter to you.

Hello Billie. Coconut, We apologize for any confusion. After review of our records, we see that there are no accounts registered with a WorthPoint account under the name “Billie De Coconut”. WorthPoint is a digital research tool designed to help its customers discover the value and origin history of their antiques and collectibles with historical data from our partnered auction houses. Auction houses only keep sales information for each item it sells for up to 90 days before getting rid of it. Google only provides information of items that are currently for sale on websites or items that have been posted on various blogs, etc., but doesn’t keep historical data from various auction houses up to 15 yrs,unlike WorthPoint. WorthPoint has partnerships with some of the world’s biggest auction houses like eBay and Cowan Auctions to provide sales information directly into WorthPoint’s databases copyrighted by the seller and auction house. WorthPoint does not sell any customer information to any outside source. One of our primary commitments to our customers, that we value dearly, is their privacy. Per terms and conditions, we advise all customers that their information is safe and secured within our database. If a user is on a Smart device and looks up an item in a search engine outside of WorthPoint, that device will start loading advertisements or sales ads pertaining to the information from the user’s last search.
