Misleading advertising for the Scala…
Misleading advertising for the Scala shoe. The 'color' mentions some thing with 'vegan' but the description of the actual shoe indicates 'leather' giving the impression that the shoe is made of leather. It's made from plastic 'vegan leather.' An email inquiry to see if they could recommend another shoe to me that was 'genuine leather' was not responded to.

We’re sorry you were disappointed with the Scala, but we do want to clarify a few points in this review. The Scala is not advertised as a “vegan leather” shoe. The color option is specifically listed as “Vegan BioCare,” which refers to the material used on the outermost layer of the shoe. The shoe still uses genuine leather for the inner lining and leather-covered footbed. We explained this distinction in our correspondence with you and also acknowledged that the product information could be clearer about exactly where the Vegan BioCare material is used. We also did respond to your email asking for recommendations for other sandals made with genuine leather. We apologize for the slight delay in our response due to an internal mishap, but your email was answered.
