It is shiny and well put together but in the end, just another scam.
Wisely was relentless with its targeted online ads directed at me. (Google knows I have ADHD of course because it records how long I look at ADHD ads.) They responded to my complaint promptly but they had my $35 and their refund policy is designed that only people without severe ADHD could meet the refund requirements. Basically they want you to keep a day planner with endless lists and prioritizing. We ADHDers have tried all these techniques many many times. If it was that easy we wouldn't be desperately clicking on these tantalizing self help links. I am a semi retired person who works alone in a sole proprietorship. I was totally deceived by their online advertising. Because of my age and lack of coworkers (and/or underlings) to delegate tasks to, nothing I watched applied to me whatsoever. Their program applies only to well employed people in a management capacity with mild ADHD at the most. Wisely is basically a time management course which will just overwhelm a person with real clinical ADHD. There is not a hint of CBT involved and I'm sure all the professionals involved are time management people and not CBT therapists who might really be able to help. As for their refund policy... Anyone who has their act together enough to follow their overwhelming 14 day regimen does NOT have a serious case of ADHD. It is quite a scam they have going. Rope in vulnerable people whose disability makes them feel hopeless and then have refund requirements that those same hopelessly ADHD people could never possibly complete because of their ADHD. I should have read all the reviews (on reddit as well) and am kicking myself for falling for another selfhelp scam that preys on my most personal vulnerability. Dan L
