Shady practices and scam model
Edit: Beware. Even their promises of resolution are completely false. The company offered a trial, and when I was able to view the site, I cancelled immediately since I saw that what they offered would not be helpful, and I knew they offered a 30 day money back guarantee. When my account was not credited, I contacted them, and they said that they wanted to assure me that my "subscription has been successfully canceled, so there will be no further charges on your account. You'll continue to have full access to the product until the end of your current billing period." They also said that they wanted to offer "three additional months of unlimited access for free instead of the refund." I declined their offer of three months in lieu of a refund and opened a case with PayPal. They then said, "Please note that while the dispute is open, we don't have the technical ability to issue a separate refund on our side." After this I researched the company and discovered hundreds of reviews calling the company a scam and predatory. The glowing reviews on their website are fake. This company says the have a 30 day money back guarantee, but that's if you consistently use their product for 14 days, which would have been impossible as I cancelled within a few minutes of signing up. Even though they said that I would have "full access to the product until the end of your current billing period," if I tried to log in, the site told me to "reactivate my subscription in order to pick up where you left off." In small print it then says, "When renewing after subscription expiration, your payment is charged the usual price." There's no way to complete this 14 day requirement. The company makes excuse after excuse for why they can't make a refund. If they are able to offer three free months instead of a refund, they should be able to issue a refund when asked. If they blame their ability to issue a refund on a case with PayPal being open, they know they should issue a refund. PayPal said they couldn’t issue a refund because the transaction was processed correctly which shows they didn’t bother to read my complaint or the supporting documents. Wisey should make good and refund.
