EVERYONE GETS 19.43 (WISEY ARE UNETHICAL & PREDATORY)
I saw an ad stating that “hypersexuality isn’t cheating” which is ridiculous because what science based app would conflate a symptom with an action. As someone who has a bipolar diagnosis and has verified hypersexuality, this was the FIRST red flag that WISEY is a predatory app. A quick google said that EVERYONE RECEIVES a score of 19.43 on their initial test. SO as someone with an ADHD diagnosis I plugged in all the wrong answers: I can concentrate easily, I can manage my life, I never lose things or get distracted. I don’t interrupt people. I finish everything I start. I got a 19.43. Go try it yourself!
Hypersexuality is a symptom that can be related to surviving sexual trauma. And WISEY uses PREDATORY advertising in selling an app that’s not only hard to cancel the subscription, but utilities neurotypical organisation skills & makes wild facetious “projection claims” with graphs about how they’re going to get you “the life you want” if you sign up - making it not just NON-functional for ADHD users, but trapping them in a subscription for long due to the several hoops cancellation requires, and adding the element of shame for being ensnared in WISEY’s unethical marketing trap.

Just saying what everyone's thinking
It's just such an obvious scam for people struggling with themselves and don't know where to turn with such a convoluted world, and it's a shame that there is so little consciousness raising for people because this kind of trash clogs up the datawaves with what amounts to simple greed. Like, they can't even be bothered to spellcheck their advertisements. The poor folks who fall for this might only get more discouraged, so it isnt even harmless it's predatory.

Stay Away!
TLDR: If you feel that you have been unjustly charged and they refuse to refund you, dispute the charge with your bank/card company and leave the company a bad review.
I have worked on and directed customer support teams for 8 years so my patience/understanding threshold is higher than most customers. That being said, I can confidently say this was one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had.
Backstory - I initially signed up for an advertised "trial" as I have ADHD and am always looking for ways to help manage it outside of medication. I signed up and then noticed that I was charged for this "trial." I was confused but realized I very well may have missed something (again - ADHD - which btw is their target audience, along with those with other cognitive struggles).
The Service - I acknowledged my potential mistake and then began my use of the service for a few days. It was lackluster. A series of videos that I did not find to be anywhere near the quality they are charging for - There are better quality videos about the same concepts for free on YouTube. I realize this is simply my opinion as a customer, but regardless, I was unsatisfied so I went to cancel any renewing subscriptions right away.
The Cancellation - The process was supposedly quick and easy. Go to your account page and click to cancel - Easy peasy. THEN after the initial "trial" period was over I noticed I was charged by them. This made me quite upset as I explicitly remembered going in and canceling. I logged in again and saw that another subscription had magically appeared in my account that I was not aware of and that could only be canceled by contacting them - this was NOT there when I had initially gone in to cancel my account as they are the only 2 things on the page. I wouldn't have canceled one and just left the other.
Customer Support - I reached out to their support team about 10 minutes after I saw this charge on my account - told them I was not aware I would be charged for this second subscription, would like it to be canceled, and would like a refund for what they had just charged me. They responded quickly, telling me that they couldn't refund me because I knew what I was buying and it was clear in their policy. I went in and read their refund policy multiple times and it is definitely NOT clear and doesn't specify which of their services it applies to (keep in mind that their service targets people with cognitive issues). But then because they "care about each customer" they gave me the wonderful offer of giving them even more money for a lifetime bundle instead. I responded and told them I didn't want this, I just wanted my subscription canceled and to be refunded for a product I didn't want. Then.... silence.... for days... They had also told me that they had canceled my subscription but when I looked, nope... still active. So I followed up with them about this as well and.... still silence. And they have been silent since. I never got another response after the one telling me I was in the wrong.
So finally, I reached out to my card company to dispute the charge, which they refunded me for within minutes, and said that they had reached out to question the merchant directly. I also saw that this company has a notorious reputation on the ADHD subreddit, and they are getting hammered with reviews right here on Trustpilot for similar experiences. So I figured while I vent about my experience, I could do my part and warn others to stay away as well.

Dear Sawyer!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We want to begin by sincerely apologizing for the frustration and disappointment you’ve encountered. As someone who has worked in customer support for many years, your insights are especially valuable, and it's clear that your experience with us has not met the standards we aim to provide.
We deeply regret the confusion surrounding the charges, the subscription cancellation process, and the lack of clarity in our communication. We understand how critical it is to have a straightforward and transparent process, especially when serving a community that includes individuals with cognitive challenges such as ADHD. You deserved clear information and responsive support, and it's clear that we failed to deliver on that promise.
Regarding the subscription charges, we understand how frustrating it is to feel that something was missed or that an additional charge appeared unexpectedly. We want to note that all in-app charges can be applied only after the confirmation from the customer’s side. We should have been more proactive in resolving your issue and providing the refund that you requested in a timely manner. Our intention is never to cause our customers frustration, and your feedback highlights areas where we need to improve.
We take your concerns seriously, and we are committed to addressing them. We will ensure that your feedback is escalated internally so that we can reassess our processes, communication practices, and policies, especially around how we handle subscriptions and refunds.
If there is anything more we can do to assist you or if you have further suggestions on how we can improve, please don't hesitate to reach out again at [email protected]. While we can't change the experience you had, we want to learn from it to prevent similar situations in the future.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we deeply regret the negative impact this experience has had on you.

Poor Product, Deceptive Practices
I purchased their ADHD program on a trial basis thinking it might contain some useful information I could apply for students with issues focusing in class. The next day, my credit card was charged an additional $17 for a completely different program that I did not intend to purchase.
As soon as I saw the charge, I emailed to ask for a refund, and received an email from their customer service that provided a stock response and since then Wisey has not replied to repeated requests to cancel / refund that purchase.
As for the ADHD program…don’t waste your time. It’s a series of videos and articles that often have nothing to do with ADHD but instead deal with things such as bias, etc. There is a “money back guarantee” but in the fine print they require you jump through multiple hoops to get refunded: log 14 consecutive days of using the site, document this and submit it, etc.
Clearly the model here is to make it easy to buy and so hard to cancel that customers just give up.

Service was fine
Service was fine, i wanted to cancel it was canceled. Program was clunky on my phone and didn't offer ways to apply concepts directly to my life. And now I've been sent an excessive number of emails asking for feedback. I've given more feedback than I used the app.
Response from WiseyAug 14, 2024

Dear wisely-app Team,
Dear wisely-app Team,
I bought your app some weeks ago, because the program seemed helpful for my adad symptoms.
But now I got scammed twice.
First I got a sponsored ad with a sale price with an 67% discount.
When I bought it I had to click twice for payment. I thought it was an loading failure of the website, but no, I had to pay much more suddenly and realised it afterwards.
I felt so bad because in my opinion it’s so mean to use people’s sickness and despair for scam and tricks.
But now, just some minutes ago your business booked money from my PayPal twice again.
So now I paid !!!!4!!!!! times for nothing.
You can find the proof as screenshots in the attachment below.
STOP taking my money and please send ist back to me.
I‘m a student with rarely money. Please den sit back to me and stop ist. I’ve got financial problems because of this.
I found informations in the internet that this happened to other people as well.
Let me know your statement about the four payments and your solution so please.
Please be fair.
Kind regards

No proper cancellation policy. Not giving refund. Worst experience. Content is also bad. But by the time you know it your money is gone. It’s a complete scam to get the money and not giving service. I have lost $60 to them.
